In Dior

At the Stardust Awards, Ms. Padukone showed off her soft side in a very feminine Dior gown. The pale pink strapless gown was paired with citron diamond earrings from Anmol and a ring from Gehna.

As sweet as she looked, this red carpet look didn’t quite add that punch we’ve gotten used to expecting with her appearances.

What do you think of her look? Like the change of pace?

  1. Wish she didnt wear those earrings…Diamond or no diamond..Kangana would have pulled this off better… BTW where is Kangana … miss her appearances!!

  2. Wow, this is considered quite muted for Deepika whose award appearances tend to be quite glamourous. Don’t like the gown though – weird proportions.

  3. I love Deepika, I really do (and it kills me to say this!), but that looks like one of the period curtains from Lingaa has been wrapped around her. Yuck to the shiny fabric.

  4. The make up is TERRIBLE! The gown does nothing for her. Like someone said it actually looks like curtains, pulled off the curtain rod and draped around her. The hemming at the bottom is bad and makes the dress look creased. The earrings have no connection with the dress! Citron and nude??!

  5. I think she looks like her Om shanti Om days. The make up is a refreshing change. The missing red lips gives a new and different look..And no white washing. 🙂 (thumbs up)

  6. She looks pretty and I like that she’s changed her boring hair up and oxblood makeup nails but have to say sonam beats her by miles and miles.

  7. I think a lot of it has to do with the lighting and flash. Most of the photos from red carpet events in the west are color corrected to remove the harsh effects of flash. Whereas in India all the photos are with the horrid flashes, highlighting the sheen of the gowns and the makeup. Wish they had better backdrops and lighting for all the award ceremonies in India . The above is such a bad photo, I cant even !! Mr. Viral Bhayani are you listening? It looks like a photo straight out the camera with zero exposure adjustments 🙂
