In Cue
In a Cue silver dress, Deepika launched Tissot’s new collection today in Mumbai, pairing the dress with black sandals, pulled back hair and red lips.
I really really want to like this look but my biggest problem is the fit of the sleeve and the shoulder pad. Because the sleeve isn’t fitted and the shoulder pad hangs out, Deepika looked a wee bit lopsided in my opinion. One arm was teeny and the other looked bulky.
Any other day, I would’ve loved to see the pony but not today. Open hair, would’ve balanced out this look more.
What say you?

She is not looking good…whether it is the shoulder pad or her hairstyle or her expressions…nothing is working.
As much i adore deepika I dont like anything about this ,she is looking giraffee to me.k ….
agree with fashionbaby…shez awrite nothing great except for height but looks pathetic here…
There’s a very popular Australian clothing line called Cue, are these clothes worn by deepika here and neha dhupia some time ago from the same collection or Cue is a name of a collection by an Indian designer? coz i have never seen these clothes in the Australian Cue shops!!!
Nop. This label is by Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna.
thanks for clearing the confusion!
The look is too harsh!
she looks so washed out…nothing good about this look head to toe 🙁
the outfit seems to be hanging on her..dont like..and the hair style is making her look more skinny.
Her head looks too small for her body here. Dislike everything about the look.
think its the camera angle. the photogs must be really low as u can tell her shoes looks bigger. or maybe shes so tall n with those heels she musta towered everyone.
all i can say is HOLY TONED ARMS! I like it actually not a bad dress, the shoulder pads or fit dont bother me cuz its not a super fittin dress to begin with. the shoes are a killer. yea, just wish her hair was open with some earrings.
you guys are always way too critical in pointing one thing or the other out. rarely do I see a post that goes smooth. anywas luv u guys nonetheless.
i never thought that there could be a hairstyle that would make that gorgeous face less then stellar. somehow her hair looks too pointy.
I could not recognise her in the middle picture
weird is the first thought that came to my mind……… everything seems so out of place, dress, hair, makeup, footwear…everything!!!
P&P..looks like you are in a deepika bashing mode these days…think she looks great with red lips and pulled back hair..she cant be faulted for the slightly loose sleeve, its a memo for the stylist tho..
On a separate note, we’ve seen a similar Cue dress on Aishwarya for Vogue shoot before..
In my opinion, the dress would look better if the skirt length hit just above the knee.
Nothing works…not the length of the dress, not the unbalanced sleeves.. Not the hair.. Nothing at all
Don’t you guys always have a beef with hairstyles; open hairstyles or pulled back pony? Just saying.. 🙂
ooooohh dont like the sleeve at all!no sleeve at all would’ve worked better, the dress length is awkward!erm a pet peeve of mine-its not ‘open’ hair ‘closed’ hair, its loose or tied up/back 🙂 sooorry couldn’t resist!
A pony is good option for a dress which has one side shoulder details, but since her face is small curly or wavy hair might have been better.
u should have posted some closeups too.
She looked very nice in the closeups & some long shots.
In these photos her face looks small for the rest of the body.
AB FAB from me… she is stunning… the dress isn’t supposed to look all over fitted… esp with the stretch and work of the fabric… the raised bar of the shoulder pad creates that extra fabric as a feature not just surplus. Sorry… I’m a pattern cutter grad – just the techi in me!
oh.why ?! i was just warming up to sequinned dresses nd coats(zara has this awesome sequin blazer) as its going to be big in winters fashion wise..one look at this and my love for sequin jus died :(. It looks that tacky, ill fitted and terrible on her.
i think she looks great …. i do agree that its less than ideal that her sleeve doesn’t fit well but she still owns it!!
Shaheen Abbas has worn something similar sometime back…Deepika looks out of Proportion and very wierdly streched somehow…
she looks like a wax statue…..n starved!!!
This dress so needs curves to fill it out – Deepika is too skinny for this dress.
You guys are far too critical. She doesn’t look as bad. If anything bothers me, it’s her ears, they are a little too elfish.
the hair is too stern and your are right about the right sleeve… better luck next time, Deepika!
Um, awkward. Seriously, that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this.
I like nothing about this look at all. The hairstyle is awful (on her), the dress is hideous and the shoes are meh. I never thought I’d see Deepika in this state. But then again, I’ve set my hopes pretty low on these Bollywood actresses. :/
This is a case of the dress wearing the person.
I think she’s lost weight, it shows especially on he face, it is making her look old and very harsh!
totally agree with P&P here. the perfect verdict. Deepika just tried TOO hard.. don’t like her a bit.
The shoulder pad looks awkward and also as you said open hair should have worked.
Head looks too small for the body, hair does not balance this out by being too stern (maybe loose hair would have hidden the shoulder pads too), Shoulder pad sticking out of body frame making Deepika’s frame look manly neck down. Skinny waist and dress length adds to the pain value. Shoes … blah …
Deepika also forgot to work her charm and expression and looks out of place…
