An Almost Ditto!

Ms. Padukone was spotted wearing a sleeveless version of the angrakha style suit, seen first on Vidya and then on Raima in a different color last year.

It’s a simple yet cute look. Only wish Deepika hadn’t covered up the tie-part with the dupatta. Which version do you prefer more?

The outfit is by Divya Anand. Thanks ‘um.m’.

  1. i like vidya’s and raima’s better.. deepika looks EXTREMELY pretty but the purpose of angarkha style is simply missing.. dude, like you have to show the special part of your clothes, in this case, the tie part.. and deepika’s dupatta is worn weird is what i feel…and full hand looks better for this style. 🙂 so my vote goes to vidya and raima… love raima’s the best.. adore the color <3

  2. I love it more on Vidya and raima than on Deepika (despite the fact that i love her hair and make up the most).
I think the lack of sleeves in her version make a huge difference. She could have worn the duppata the same way on the other side or gone full sleeves and avoided the duppata.

  3. What everyone else said – Vidya and Raima wore it better by picking lovely colors, going sans dupatta and keeping makeup/hair/accessories simple. Deepika ruins the look by picking a garish outfit and she should have just skipped the dupatta. Also don’t like her footwear (glittery flats?).

  4. Loving Vidya’s the most and then Raima’s. Hate Deepika’s outfit. Realized how the same material stitched in different ways can make a world of difference.

  5. i think i will go with vidya’s & raima’s appearance.dnt like deepika’s.and she shud hav opted for kolhapuris instead of mojris.and d dupatta also has to go from front f d dress.

  6. having already seen Vidya’s quite a few times on this site, Raima’s looks new and nice … however, instead of black, red chudidhaar would have complemented her top well …guess even green would have been nice !

  7. Deepika wears a loose fitting dress and so I feel that it doesn’t flatter her figure well. On the other hand, Vidya faired well as the dress fits her very well!

  9. When I first saw that yellow anarkali-churidar on Vidya I remember I went wandering around Little India trying to find one like it because I thought it looked so pretty! That day, they had every color but yellow of course.

I think I will try looking again though. There is something so cute about this design, and I seem to be liking churidars as much as salvars these days [This must be a phase because I’m from Punjab, land of the ubiquitous salvar-kameez. Hehe.]
