It was a busy day for Ms. Padukone who first attended a press conference felicitating Olympic medal winners and later at night, took in a movie screening.

For her day look, she paired her distressed denims and white tee with a mint blazer, flats, stacked bracelets/bangles and hair worn up (will add a full-length when we get our hands on the pic). For her evening look, she swapped the mint blazer for a black one, added a Dior clutch and a Mawi necklace. Big hair, red lips and peep-toe pumps completed her look.

Reservations over distressed denims aside, she looked absolutely fantastic. Both times!

  1. Not too sure about tht distressed jeans being event appropriate ( where you are applauding Olympic winners). However neck up she looks awesome

  2. not liking the night look and I may be in minority here. she doesn’t across as looking polished a lot of the times. I’m all for messy hairdos and stuff, but something always seems amiss in DPs look.

  3. Saw better pics, the lipstick for the night look is fuschia not red…

Wish she wore a darker colored tee at the daytime do or better yet, an orange one to kinda give the patriotic vibe…and wish she had ditched the distressed denims!
No complaints about the night look though! Oh and please Dippy, please don’t go the Celina way with horrible colored contacts 24/7!

  5. NOt at all event appropriate. As a sports person Deepika should have taken more effort in to dressing up for a event which celebrates many many years of hard work

  6. I don’t like the day look I don’t think the fabric of the blazer goes with the tee or jeans, I also think she has too little makeup on (not saying she needs it but just to pull look together) her lips look a little dull – what with the hair in a bun it seems like she just rolled out of bed and given the event she was at..it was just not a cohesive look.

  7. I really don’t think the looks are that great…….She is ruining the Dior clutch at night with the distressed denims and the white tee and dont even get me started on the footwear at night…….just doesnt work with the jeans……very disappointing

  8. Not a fan of distressed jeans at all but gotta give Deepika credit for pulling it off quite well…guess her charm, smile, stunning face, dimples, body, long legs do help.

  9. While there’s no denying that Deepika looked good at the Olympic event, why no pic of the actual stars of the show too?! Classic case of Bollywood eclipsing every single other field in this country. Nothing is validated until one has even a z-lister present.

      • They should remove all pics of Sania Mirza then. And the Natasha Poonawalas et al. Anyway, nothing wrong with posting a picture of an actual *real- life* heroine like Mary Kom or Saina Nehwal, is there? Just for niceties sake.

        • whoa. this is not a “Bollywood” blog, as Shaila says. it’s a fashion blog — what people wear gets them featured. i guess the Olympians’ clothes didn’t merit a mention. am certain P+P meant no disrespect. as they’ve proved time and again, they aren’t here to be “nice”.
