In Alexander Wang

Deepika was invited by UEFA as an honorary guest to watch the Champions League Final that took place on Saturday night. For the appearance she picked a blush pink Alexander Wang boyfriend blazer wearing it with matching pants and top and a Shourouk necklace.

Contrasting the one-tone look was a deep berry lip and a metallic clutch. The look would’ve been a winner if not for the boxy fit of the blazer and the uneven hemming at the bottom. Wearing an updo only drew more attention to it.

  1. Not a fan of the hair/makeup here. It’s giving her a harsh and worn-out look especially in the second pic. She should’ve taken the blazer off and show-cased the lovely Shourouk statement piece.

  2. Seriously overdone for something as casual as a soccer game. What is this obsession with being dressed up to the nines all the time?!

  3. a complete disaster. a sundress with light jacket would have been great unless it was exceptionally breezy which it does not seem like. Stylist should stop looking at just the brand name.

  4. 1. Should/Could dress her age..let’s keep this look for post 50’s
    2. Berry lip..this aint the time of the year anywhere..try experimenting with shades of pink/orange/purple

    • With all due respect, I believe you should wear colors that suit you and that goes with the dress you are wearing rather than the time of the year.

      • I agree with pinup. Never understand this western concept of dressing to match the outdoors – weather and time of day wise. Sounds so silly for someone living in a all-year-round tropical country.

  5. I know am in a minority here however I like what Deepika wears here. She carries it off well. She looks good in the first pic and the berry lips look great on her.

  6. My only problem here is with the hemming – apart from that i think it all comes together nicely! Slightly androgynous, and with great accessories too!

  7. If she was in the box with the officials — the club presidents, the management, and the like, I can imagine why she went for this outfit. I don’t really like the execution of the concept, however. A slimmer fit, not a tight fit might’ve looked better? Side note: my team won! Hala Madrid!

  8. HI PP,
I agree and think the outfit could have fit better … but the teased updo hair and that dark berry lip needs a break…..its become what Deepika is known for. Someone as gorgeous looses points with styling……I think she needs to dress more casually too….she either is too formal with indian wear or wears too much makeup and stern hairdos which make her outfit even more formal.
I think Anahita should relax it for Deepika a bit…..
She is a gorgeous woman that will look great if styled age and occasion appropropriate.
Not comparing but that is what makes Sonam stand apart…..(and her styling team including Hair and make up by Namrata Soni )…..

  9. Why is she dressed like an aging socialite ? Baaaad look. That berry lip is really aging her and she also neds to change up her greasy foundation.

  10. I’m so bored of the updo hair & berry lips on Deepika…I’m really waiting for a nice summery refreshing look from her..
That kept aside she looks okay..hate the blazer though!!!

  11. I think there is a dress code one needs to follow when you sit with corporate-s at box. If that is the case i don’t see much problem with look. I work for event management company in US and i can tell you we don’t appreciate frumpy or casual stars at our events , it is considered disrespectful to organizers or people who invited you. If you are a star and and attend a event on that ground, there is a dress and makeup code they must follow, i see no issues with makeup and hair. It would be disrespectful if she shows up too casual.

    • PS: This expectation is only when you are invited professionally by corporate/organizer or sponsors. If they are on their own, they are free to be as casual as they like.

Couple of serious grammar errors up there pls ignore just for once , i will watch it next time 🙂

  12. She should have gone easy on the make-up..kept it on the nude side and fresh to complement the androgyny of the blazer..the only reason it (blazer) stands apart from a barrage of other nude “cute” blazers is its boxy fit, reminds me of Tilda Swinton the queen of androgynous wear 😛

  13. I don’t mind the suit as much, but the hair is just really really dated and nt fashion.. Its like one of the updos typical to India daily soaps, So Smriti Irani!
