In Abu Sandeep

A fan of designers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Dame Judi Dench was spotted wearing an embroidered lavender long maxi by the duo at the 58th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards. It’s odd seeing black pumps with the light colored outfit.

You can also catch her inside wearing a more ornate ensemble at the launch of the duo’s book India Fantastique at Sothebys.

oh wow good to know that they do create non-blingy outfits..i prefer the 1st look anytime..

  3. ms. meow says:

Well the ensemble works well for her age. Plus she has a fierce personality and I think the red outfit especially looks good.

i am shamelessly biased towards judi dench. she could show up wearing what aishwariya normally wears and i’d be ok with that.

having said that, i like the look in purple, not the second one.

Loving both looks! Though the first one is kinda grandma-ish and the red one is fierce!

    How adorable is she <3

I think both outfits look great because they are on her. On most others, they would be overwhelming.

Both outfits look great on Judie Dench. Her choice of colors are great. She’s worn them as long jackets, allowed plain fabric to show through, minimizing the bling and intricate all over embroidery with mimum….I mean minimum accessories. Our popular bollywood ladies however are all buttoned up, gittered up, from head to toe. I do love the chikankari work though. Somehow it’s more noticeable on Judie’s outfits than the bollywood actresses who have worn Abu-Sandeep.

I think both outfits are lovely but the red is simply stunning. I agree that her shoes for the lavender ensemlbe are too dark but I thought they are more a metallic silver or pewter than black.
