Cut It Out!

Comment image 20

“Kirthi” pointed us to this picture of Natasha wearing another cutout style gown back in 2005 for IIFA. The gown wasn’t as bad as her IIFA 2008 debacle considering there was just one cutout and she seemed more in shape back then…

Also, noticed how similar Natasha’s gown is to the Cavalli gown? The reason I say similar and not same is because the work on the cutout looks quite different from the original. Wonder who made this knockoff…

  2. obviously money can’t buy taste. i hate the way her blonde hair clashes with the yellow of the gown. she looks prettier as a brunette.

  5. Classic syndrome of desi girl trying to be our typical ‘blonde slutress.’ Everyone has the rigt to experiment with their looks but desis who do the blonde hair, blue contacts look (not that she has contacts on) look so pathetic. I hate the dress too..it’s just so boring. I look forward to seeing this on the site again..but this time, Malika Arora Khan will be wearing it..donchuthink? 😀

  6. I think you guys need lastik coz she is hideous to look at. Even all dolled up she is plain ordinary and her dress sense is criminal. She is always dressed in some vulgar cavalli print loud number. Just goes to show money cant buy you Taste or Style. And what’s happened to fardeen?? He’s lost his looks.

  7. She is Mumtaz, the actress, daughter, right??

She just look boring all the time. I never see her in anything spectacular. She needs to get rid of blonde. Why o why does she think tht she cn pull it off??? Get caramel highlights instead.

  8. yuck ! yuck! yuck! sorry – but this look is not working for me. She looks pretty cheap to me. Infact the gown also is on the cheap side! Horrible!
Fardeen looks better in 2008..only wish the shiny suit was not that shiny..

  9. Natasha’s outfit on the right seems to be inspired somewhat from Halle Berry’s Oscar dress …it was a magenta gown with net like bodice and flower detail if i remember right…except here it is only flowery detail…cud have been much better if it was a corset like top …

  10. to be fair, natasha was blonde in 2005 according to the picture and has seemed to have learnt her lesson since then. fardeen looks sharp in the 2008 pic. but i agree that the suit is too shiny.

  11. natasha isn’t wearing a knock off. it’s the real thing. it just looks like a knock off because it sits on her differently as she’s shorter than the other women.

  12. dude..natasha is definitely not someone to wear fakes!!! in fact, her engagement gown was specially designed for her by cavalli!!!

  13. Mia/Kirthi,
That was my first thought too(had heard bout the engagement gown..).. but just for some reason the work on the cutout looks so different to me… Probably is the real deal..

  14. Her engagement gown was not especially made it was store bought from London- it was part of the spring summer collection that year! And this cheap black knock off is made by her mother in law Sundari Khan who is a designer. So much for original and classy!! And was torn to pieces in the Mumbai Midday a few weeks back.
