We spotted Masaba in a jacket from her collection at a recent event and, Suhani in jewelry, also from her most recent collection. Whether you like the individual pieces or not, got to give props to designers for wearing their own stuff. Who better to be a brand ambassador? ;)

It was a navy blue Carolina Herrera gown for Padma Lakshmi at the Emmys which she accessorized with a necklace from her own collection.

I love the color on her and as much as the minimalist in me rejoices in her gradual move (away) from this infamous appearance, I can’t help but wish for slightly more dramatic hair and make-up.

When I first saw this Anaikka shoulder sling, besides thinking that the sling is a crazy idea, I couldn’t even imagine it looking good on anyone. Masaba changed that for me completely by pairing the gold sling with an all-white outfit. On her, I totally loved it although I doubt I could ever pull it off.

What I do unequivocally love though would have to be that necklace on Anupamaa. Also an Anaikka, I so wish I had jumped on when it was still on sale (on Exclusively.in)!

Amrapali continues to bling Hollywood with Troian Avery Bellisaro and Amber Heard being the latest to sport its jewellery at the 9th InStyle Summer Soiree. Troian wore a Rose Cut Diamond Necklace that retails for a whopping $22,690! In comparison, Amber Heard who was also at the same event went for Victorian Diamond Earrings that were relatively cheaper at $1840. :)

At another event (see inside), Sofia Vargera sported a Yellow Gold and Diamond Cuff that was $4,350 but if you are disheartened that all Amrapali is expensive, bringing in some respite was Vanessa Hudgens sporting Gold Vermeil and Turquoise Earrings that retail for $260.

Am a sucker for statement jewelry and love the Suhani Pittie one that Rhea is sporting; too bad we don’t have a picture of the outfit she paired it with!

At their respective events, these ladies chose Amrapali as their bling of choice. While Paula wore the Amrapali Starburst Earrings (which retails for about $10,370), Jada wore Amrapali Yellow Gold and Diamond Earrings (that retails for $1,670).

We love Amrapali but much prefer their more traditional/ethnic silver jewelry personally. However, it’s always great to catch their jewelry on both home-front and international red carpets/events.

A Malini Ramani Resort 2010 dress spotting and no, it wasn’t on Koel Puri. :P

This time, it was model Joel Matthews lounging (literally) in a dress from the Indian Summer segment from the designer’s Resort 2010 collection (see Here). From what we see, the belt and the bright red bag seem too much for the dress.

Also spotted in a kaftan from the Cote D’ Azure Crush segment from the same collection was this lady. Love the Anaikka necklace pairing with the kaftan.

Back in May, Ms. Mallis attended an event in a Suhani Pittie necklace, one which I’ve been lusting over since I first spotted it at LFW. Can’t wait for it to hit the stores so that I can snag me one… you listening Ms. Pittie? ;)

We are die-hard aficionados of Chanel but a tacky belt on a certain Ms. Sen has put a bad taste in our mouth when it comes to wearing Chanel belts well.

When it comes to logo-flaunting (or spell-it-out letters), we prefer a minimalist approach and so you’ve probably guessed by now that the only one out of the three we prefer is Jacqueline.

P.S. We wonder if going with a very simple outfit after her ramp walk in an OTT lehenga was a concious decision on Jacqueline’s part. :P (Jacqueline attended the Phadnis show after the Riyaz Gangji event)
