Ms. Kapoor was busy shooting for her upcoming film Thank You in Canada and in one of the stills we spotted her sporting a Topshop floral laceup dress.

On the sets she might have been channeling a girly look but off the sets, it was the total opposite. Hanging out with a fan from her fan club, Sonam was spotted channeling a grunge look in an Acne blouse with laceup boots and an Alexander Wang Willow (her second Wang) bag. Funny, how even the grunge look looks girly on her.

We may not have been fans of the Harper’s cover but loving Ms. Padukone on the September Bridal special edition of Verve India. Ms. Padukone wears a hot off the couture runway Anamika Khanna lehenga with a velvet blouse.

P.S. What is it about the bridal issues that makes Verve also feature Vuitton on the cover. Remember this? A subtle way of implying that only Vuittons can help carry the heavy duty bridal wear? :P

Ms. Arora was chosen as a celebrity guest to showcase the $1.3 million bustier by Orra in Delhi today. Instead of wearing it the way it was presented on the runway in Mumbai (with a lehenga), Malaika went a different route pairing the bustier with a peachy/pink sari which we quite liked. The bustier wasn’t too in your face nor did it get lost with the sari. (We wouldn’t want another January Jones’ Emmy 2010 fiasco happening where her $1.2 million Cartier earrings couldn’t be seen!)

Although, we don’t have the best picture I can totally imagine this Lamé-likeFerragamo gown looking fab on Ms. Padukone. But, as much as I love the color, I cannot disregard how sloppily long this gown is and, that is killing the whole look for me. Just a few inches short and it would be perfection.

On an aside, drooling over the green My Charme flat, part of the My Ferragamo collection that will debut in India at Fashion’s Night Out at Delhi’s Emporio Mall (see inside).

Designer Anupama Dayal recently showed her bridal collection in Delhi with socialites Tanisha Mohan and Witty Bawa modelling. We’d reallly like to appreciate the collection but can you blame us for being distracted by the horrible styling. The unkempt hair with the mogra was an instant turnoff!

Since the bridal finery isn’t enough to hold our attention, let’s move on to the attendees, shall we?

Cheena Wig wore a Karen Millen white dress with a red Birkin to subtly match the belt detail and I must say I quite liked. The only fault with her look were the flats that she wore. They seemed much too casual for entire outfit.

We spotted Masaba in a jacket from her collection at a recent event and, Suhani in jewelry, also from her most recent collection. Whether you like the individual pieces or not, got to give props to designers for wearing their own stuff. Who better to be a brand ambassador? ;)

Something tells me the sari would’ve had great retro/vintage-y appeal had it not been for that blouse and the ott jewelry.

From what we see (while we have our eyes out for a full-length pic of Shabnam’s), we’ve got to hand our vote to Maria. This Charu Parashar print still works best on Ms. Goretti.

Am not a big fan of Sky (it’s a lil’ too Real Housewives Of Orange County for my taste) but have to admit, this dress on Feroze is so much better than some of the offerings out there.

If you watched the Emmys this past Sunday (or later), you probably noticed all the nude Zuhair Murad Couture collection gowns on the red carpet worn by Wanda Sykes, Jewel and Nina Dobrev. Now, Vogue India makes us really happy peeps by featuring Bips in a Fall 2010 lace dress on the cover.

I may not be a fan of the pose but loving the dress on Bips. Can’t wait to see this editorial.

Designer Sanchita Ajjampur who just showcased her men’s collection at the recently concluded Van Heusen India Men’s Week took a bow wearing a Fall 2008 Lanvin dress. The dress itself is quite overwhelming but Sanchita instead of drowning in it, comes off looking quite good. We like.
