The unveiling of designer Jaya Rathore’s installation at the Delhi Couture Week happened at a big event hosted by Ammu Saidi and Rani Sushma Kumari and was attended by many Delhi socialites. Hostess Ammu Saidi went for an all white look with a BCBG cowl neck dress paired with white slingbacks. Cheena Vig wore a DvF dress, also with slingbacks and a black Birkin.

Shabnam Singhal wore a Pucci long dress but paired it with pants which made the look quite odd. She could’ve gone without them and looked great.

Gunjita Dhawan was spotted in a Prashant Verma dress. Tanisha Mohan, wore an animal print (also Prashant Verma?) and was spotted with a Birkin that we previously hadn’t seen before. That ups her number to five (of the ones we’ve seen). The dress, itself, probably would’ve been much more interesting if not for that weird middle ruching. It pretty much killed it.

Keeping it simple was the Rani Sushma Kumari wearing an ombre chiffon yellow/green sari. I loved it.

Our vote goes to the hostesses Ammu and Sushma for being best dressed at this do, what about you?

Unless you are new to the blog (where have you been?), you know of Anu Deewan’s Birkin collection (or hoarding problem :p). So, it really should come as no surprise too see her toting yet another one. This time, a delish ostrich in purple.

Another one bites the dust. And by that we mean the ‘Hermès’ Birkin dust. Ms. Ranaut was spotted toting around a yummilicious orange Birkin while returning from Colombo. It’s a good thing she has that color on her because that yoga-style-sports jacket is killing her grey tank/black leggings look.

P.S. Am amazed that even a bandaged foot didn’t stop Kangana from wearing pumps. Seems like it was fashion over comfort in her case.

There are days when the better half and me will get dressed separately and in the end we land up wearing the same color scheme and let me tell you, as cute as it may sound, it’s annoying too because more often than not, I end up having to change!
Looking at these two just reminded me of such times, except, Hrithik and Sussanne were in two different cities when they were spotted wearing red checked shirts with denims. Does that happen to you? ;)

While Anu Deewan has added yet another one to her stables, a croc this time (or is it alligator?)… Ms. Reddy was spotted with her first one. A yummy orange ostrich. It is however Ms. Patel’s non-exotic red that appeals to us the most. What makes your wish-list?

Instead of wearing this Cavalli top as is, Natasha changes it up by wearing it as a one-shouldered top minus the belt with black leather pants and a pink mini-Birkin. With the colors being so resorty/summery, wish Ms. Poonawala had picked white slightly flared pants.

The very pregnant (awwww) Anu Deewan made an appearance recently in an M Missoni dress looking positively radiant. And on her arm was yet another Birkin, this time a JPG 2 Birkin/SB2 bag. The original JPG 1 Birkin/shoulder Birkin has now been discontinued and what Ms. Deewan has on her arms is the SB2. I Love. I want. I envy. ;)
