In Just Cavalli

Spotted Ms. Basu at a recent event in a Just Cavalli satin fishtail gown which she paired with some gold accessories… Considering the dress is sooo reminiscent of the Just Cavalli Bustier Dress seen on just about everyone, I can’t help but be a bit bored by this look.

  1. surprisingly, this dress not seem like a comfortable fit on bipasha – it’s clearly pulling in the waist and hips. it may be that one size larger would have been a better decision, but then, looking at the dress on the model, it looks like this dress is cut pretty narrowly in the hips, anyway…but chest up she looks great!

  2. I just don’t like the fishtail silhouette (This gown is a tempered version of the full flare, but still). It is rarely slimming and almost always never looks good.

  3. Wow, gorgeous and amazing. I wish I could look one-tenth this good ever. She is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Ever.

  4. Please excuse me, I didn’t mean to use the word “ever” three times in that last post. I was blinded by BB’s gorgeousness and I couldn’t type properly!!

  5. I’ll admit the dress doesn’t fit her well and I do not really care for the gaudy clutch. But to say one is ‘bored’ of the dress because they’ve seen too many similar ones is rather silly- it’s a classic silhouette in a classic color sans any embellishments. You don’t always have to be different to be fashionable the tried and tested – pantsuits and pencil skirts in black, grey and tan to work, LBDs glammed up with sky-high stilettos, a silk sari with gorgeous kundan jewellery, are actually some of the chicest choices around.
