Sari Style

For the Super Star Awards, Bipasha picked a yellow Sabyasachi(?) sari paired with a pink blouse. We were all set to go gaga over this look when our eyes hit her other arm. What’s goin on with that blouse?

This take of doing traditional with a modern twist was a deal breaker for us. Was it for you?

  3. The whole look is just weird. So not feeling it. Except I like that she’s covered up for a change after a long time – she had such a PC trend going on for a while.

  4. She looks gorgeous…love the hair do and the bindi and the colors. As for the sleeve fiasco, I actually have a problem with the pink sheer sleeve – too tacky in my opinion. Think it should’ve been a sleeveless blouse – for both arms I mean

  6. Of course its sabyasachi… the exact same photos are also on his facebook :p
This is sabyasachi at his mainsteam-giving-in-to-star-plus-best. The arm isn’t even edgy, forward or novelia…its random. Beautiful sari and colours – but just Sabya going back to his colourful roots!
However, having said that… if she wore the pallu down and covered the bare arm it would have been very practical. How many of us have worn churidar sleeves and had to sweat it out under the pallu!! xx
