Berlin Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012: Péro By Aneeth Arora
‘Indian aesthetic with a contemporary twist‘ is often very loosely and easily thrown around but there’s no better way to describe Péro’s collection as showcased during Berlin Fashion Week.
Indigo, beige and greys are perfect for Fall and, silhouettes so easy. Besides, layering never looked so good!
Oh Gawd! Hobo-chic is coming back?! This whole look is utterly horrendous. I’ve seen better looking clothes on the homeless people in front of the subway station. Total fail.
I’m sorry, but these look like homeless people to me. There isn’t one piece that looks even remotely nice in the collection.
Layering? This was the designer’s contribution? Layering? What happened to design inspired, fabric inspired, texture inspired clothing?? This looks like unironed clothes from The Gap. I live in Germany and many of the Germans are quite well-dressed….can’t quite see this collection flying of the shelves!!
well this makes for a fantastic exhibit on casual layering as a concept in fashion….but designer???which of these pieces have that “design” quality to them? it seems the “designer” went to the local thrift store and bought pieces from there and STYLED them…definitely a big NO NO!!
P&P do qualify your “Indian aesthetic with a contemporary twist” and help us appreciate this look more.
most interested.
Aww..that is so good to see designers working towards a cause…bringing homeless people to fashion shows..furthermore what is so Indian and aesthetic about this whole homeless look..? Guys go see a shrink asap..!!
