Sari Style

It’s been a while since we saw Ms. Dharker on these page and it sure was a delight to see her at the UK India Year Of Culture kickoff reception. While I liked that she picked a sari to wear to the formal event that had the Queen in attendance, I do wish the sari itself was better.
Was neither a fan of the sari nor the halter-style blouse.

Does anyone else think she and Priyanka ( the blogger here) look similar, especially the smile ? That’s the first thing that came to mind.
The necklace is just getting lost against that sari.
