i actually really like the kurta-churidaar look: she looks elegant, understated and really pretty.

agree ! Haha… I like the reception look. Suits her well !
Dislike the blue a lot as it is way too short for her body type. More of a top than a dress. The white is not bad.

Agree the reception look is the best… can you tell us what label she is wearing there?

There is a typo in your blog again.. I think you meant to write ‘Our favorite was perhaps the blue one.’

This girl has no clue how to dress acc to her body type. The ‘Indian’ look is weird, to say the least – odd length of the churidar, and a singlet under the kurta?! The only look that kind of works in the one in white.

nope, that’s not a singlet, just the bottom layer of a two-layered kurta

The blue one, now really? Those black stockings are ugly and so is the blue dress. Looks like a pick from the flea market. The white dress makes her cylindrical. This woman def has no clue on how to dress for her body type.

she looks soo cute and lovely in blue and white. I like both. I think the churidaar is odd…otherwise the kurta is nice!

The least I like her is in the blue one. Is making her look rather stumpy. The lace dress reminds me of ‘Shefali’ character from ‘Aisha’

loving the white lace dress and spl the necklace with it..though not liking the blue nail-paint coz its too matchy-matchy with the necklace!

Avantika is a gorgeous girl, and there’s nothing wrong with her body. She’s just not 5’10” tall and sickly thin like most Bollywood actresses are these days.

I don’t understand why people need to demonize her body type (which is quite enviable, curvy and well-toned) and act like she needs to have some special qualifications on how to dress for it.

The Indian look is dowdy, but the white sheath dress is flattering, and the blue one, while nothing special, is hardly uncomplimentary to her body.

the kurta churidar is really good! she looks the best in it..the other two are not the best given her height.
