In Bodice By Ruchika Sachdeva

‘Tis the season of fresh off-the-runway it seems. Except, Ms. Reddy wore hers even before it was presented on the runway. The lovely Sushma Reddy however fails to make that look work.

LFW Winter/Festive 2012: Nupur Kanoi

First things first. Loved Ms. Kanoi’s presentation titled ‘Chapter Two’. Beautiful dresses and gorgeous pants that we long to see off-the-runway were the highlights. Those indigo pants (row one) or the embroidered green jacket with the blue accent (row three)… Must. Have. Them. Now. That said, does anyone else feel the designer has bit of an Anamika Khanna hangover looking at row three? Can’t seem to shake off a strong sense of déjà vu.

In Wendell Rodricks

In a fresh off-the-runway Wendell Rodricks dress, Malaika looked absolutely lovely at the designer’s book launch. We like.

In Kiran Uttam Ghosh

Ms. Mohapatra was spotted in a textured Kiran Uttam Ghosh wrap dress while at a recent exposition. We like; that color looks great on her!

Ferragamo wedges and Eina Ahluwalia earrings (which we happen to love by the way) finished out her look.

LFW Winter/Festive 2012: Swapnil Shinde

Like with his previous collection, Swapnil Shinde continues to flirt with futuristic accents and design with his latest too. Cinched waists accented with metallic belts were a recurring theme. The pleated gowns (third row, first two from the left) stood out!
