In Self Portrait

At Manish Malhotra’s dinner, Athiya kept it laid-back in a white Self Portrait dress paired with light pink ankle-strap sandals and a matching colored Dior clutch.

Now that we see the model, it felt like the look drew some of its inspiration from it but am sure it is just a coincidence. Having said that though, the light pink accessories felt a bit dull for the look. Given that she was keeping it casual makeup wise, wish she’d added some color via the shoes or the clutch.

Like her casual yet dressy look?

  1. I disagree, I think silver and beige go very well with white. She could have worm a pair of say red or yellow sling backs, but then would not have been able to carry a hand bag. I like.

  2. I really like how naturally she poses!! Never the same pose and she is just out there to get clicked! She has got beautiful hair and I like it how she just lets them be. She looks lovely here! The smile is soo pleasant. 🙂

  3. For the first time there is a smile, she looks good. Usually there is no life in her and she always ends up looking like a mannequin dressed in designer clothes on display.

  4. I really like her look though I am not too fond with the shoes and bag pairing. I agree, that color does not go with white.

  5. She looks pretty not a fan of the shoes.
But I don’t get this comment – “Now that we see the model, it felt like the look drew some of its inspiration from it but am sure it is just a coincidence.” Firstly – why would you give that last line as some justification – as if it’s a big surprise when these stylists “draw inspiration” from the original look. Secondly – I could be wrong, but have you ever made this comment on Sonam Kapoor’s looks – she/her stylist seem to “draw inspiration” from a lot of original looks and not sure you call them out on this! I guess a lot of celebs featured on here do this, but seems to happen more frequently with Sonam.
