    Asin is looking gorgeous!!

I think she achieved the right mix of sophistication (make up and hairdo), fun (Masaba) and traditional (gold coin necklace). Also, if you have observed over the years, at any South Indian movie awards, very few are dressed in designer wear, most of the actors and actresses are dressed very normally.

Terrible makeup. Even more terrible lipstick. Even more terrible outfit (this is a given as it’s a Masaba creation – sorry to say there hasn’t been a Masaba creation to date that’s been an appealing one).

I think the outfit is quite appropriate and the whole look is a winner!

She’s got it perfectly right. People down south don’t dress up much fr their awards. If u see, she was d most well put together at this event as compared to anyone else. Right mix of fashion n tradition.

I was thinking just that, though the make up is way off!

I find the whole very crowded..the lipstick is horrible to begin with and she should have skipped the necklace, seemed to be very unnecessary..

Oh no! It’s a look straight out of a saas-bahu serial! Much too garish and an outfit that’s too overwhelming for her frame. Hard to imagine this is the same girl who wore Indian so well at the Ritesh-Genelia wedding.

I think she looks quite nice actually. I like the Masaba outfit very much. If I were to nitpick, perhaps a severely scraped back hair and a different shade of red lipstick would have worked better but thats just splitting hair.

Is it just me or does the quality of Masaba outfits seem very bad? The material/textiles always seem so garish, cheap and low quality.

Sometimes I quite enjoy Masaba’s designs, but if the quality of the clothes look so bad in pictures, I can only imagine what they look like in person.

Completely agree! The material screams Sarojini Nagar! And I don’t think there is a single Masaba creation I’ve liked thus far.

Why is she wearing a traditional kasamalai necklace on that outfit what a terrible combination. Those necklaces look great with kanjeevaram sarees only. Less said better about the outfit in general. I am guessing her stylist is on vacation this week…

lol..true that.. maybe her and Sameera’s stylist went on a holiday together!!

No denying Asin does look lovely. I would not have penned coin necklace and masaba together – but on some wierd sense it does work here. Asin looks clean (after a series of MM and other heavy duty stuff, this looks like a breadth of fresh air).

ditto… and how lovely does the bindi make her look.
