Instead of the traditional gown or sari, Anushka opted for a jumpsuit at the Zee Cine Awards wearing a black Gauri and Nainika one one. Hair in a sleek ponytail, she finished out her look with smoky eyes and long spiked ear-pieces.
Some of you may feel the jumpsuit might have been too casual a choice, but I liked it.

As long as it’s not a manish malhotra, then it’s a 100 percent excellent and awesome.
Nothing novel about this look from her. We have seen her do the black jumpsuit look multiple times before. She looks good in it but it does look too casual for an awards red carpet.
About the casualness of it all, I think it works just fine, because the jumpsuit does give a dressy vibe to it. I mean, Zee Cine is no Filmfare, so this casualness is not bad at all.
She favors this off shoulder style. Saw it on coffee with Karan, the kapil show and now this. Change it up bebe!

Remember the time when she had worn that yellow gown to the Filmfare awards few years ago. I miss that Anushka on the red carpet. Her recent red carpet appearances have been a little blah. She’s capable of so much more.
You know whenever I try to recall her best looks, somehow that yellow Filmfare gown only comes to my mind.

She is looking gorgeous!! a change of pace on these award functions is always nice….i somehow don’t understand this phase of gowns….just not meant for Indian body types:(
