From The Archives: In Moschino Cheap & Chic

In addition to carrying the Dior Mosaic clutch, Anu was wearing a Moschino Cheap & Chic Silk Satin dress. Love the dress. Just wished she hadn’t worn those beads with it. Do we have to mention again how much we heart the clutch! :P

Do u have a full length picture? Can we see what shoes she is wearing?
The beads are totally spoiling the look here. IT’s a lovely dress. Lovely colour.

Meh, boring. It’s like, okay, next. This girl really doesn’t show us anything new eventhough she’s got good taste, it seems. She looks very awkward in this picture.

Man!!!! does this woman ever get bored of owning such expensive things!! how rich can she get, some ppl are just tooooooo lucky….btw can she adopt me?

  4. ngm82 says:

the color is so pretty! dress fits her well. i like her style.. it is absolutely not-in-ur-face! simple and chic!

  5. Nepali says:

If she bothers to be fashionable, why doesn’t she do something about her hair too?

  6. Pri says:

Hmm it’s okay. You are right, those beads do nothing for her. A full length picture might be more revealing and allow for more comments lol. I wish she would mess up her hair or something. I don’t know, something is always off with her. Like boring. Lol it’s like I expect all these great personalities to shine through their pictures, I know. But she’s always so blah. I mean, great bags and sometimes clothes, but that’s about it, that extra oomph is always missing.

check out twinkle hanna in hindustan times power couples series may 7 09 wearing a similiar hot pink ruffled dress

  8. Annie.S says:

sorry typo, meant “khanna” and not “hanna”: – it’s similiar NOT same so dont jump on me people

  9. omg says:

ewww to the matching nail paint…btw even shobha de thinks you guys rock!!!

  10. Artie says:

Now that I see a close up of her face, she really isn’t pretty. Its only the dresses and the bags! some girls have all the luck (and money!) in the world…*sigh*

  11. Anila says:

Hi I’m an intern at a bollywood production studio in LA. I was wondering how I could get in touch with the owners of this blog about a possible project? Also where are they (you) located?

    Regards,
    Anila.

Somehow it looks like she is trying to copy Twinkle! Remember the (was it a?) deep pink/purple wrap dress that Twinkle wore with the turquoise long necklace to an award show with Akshay? (The posting was on HHC!) Anu’s outfit reminds me of Twinkle’s but Twinkle’s was soooo much better. Anu’s matching nail polish is overkill. Overkill.

  13. Nick says:

I love the orange in the clutch. The beads are old fashioned.. reminds me of a tiny necklace and earrings my gran used to wear which had similar coloured beads and stones but only a bit smaller

  14. Megha says:

    i quite like the beads
the dress is a gorgeous colour!

  15. _*Dia*_ says:

lovely dress n lovely colour!!!i guess she wore the beads to put together her dress and the clutch so the outfit looks gelled…but wrong choice of beads :(

  16. CocoNUT says:

I reallllly like this dress, especially the color, but don’t like the ruffles. Anu looks great, although I’m not digging the heavy kajol look, it doesn’t go with the rest of her look. Do like the accessories, the clutch is soo cute!

  17. brenda says:

love the clutch and the dress, minus the beads.
i think she needs to do somrthing about her hair. they always look flat and oily…maybe do a side parting……

  18. Ratan says:

Love the color of the dress and the clutch too!! But really she didn’t have to go all out & match her nail color to that of the dress. And the beads are just so not required, the frills on the dress are enough in terms of ‘extra’. And like most posts here, I agree, she looks a bit blah mostly.

  19. Nepali says:

LOL@Pri on mess her hair or something; I know what you meant.

  20. PJ says:

    yawnnnnnnnnnn

  21. melange says:

Neither cheap nor chic. Lovely colour, but nothing else really.

  22. Antonia says:

The dress looks great on her & the bag looks awesome with it. But those beads are a huge no O_O

  23. Anita says:

I honestly do not know what I would wear if I had her money… I think its a lot of work to dress up that much, every day;-) So I tell myself to feel better about not having the money.. lol

  24. Penny Lane says:

Why o Why does this dress remind me of a hotel lobby sofa upholstery? I know times are bad, but people at Moschino shud then take out the “chic” from their label if they will simply get a 15 year old, give him scissors and let him go wild. ” Also, make sure you don’t ruin the sofa, we’ll need the rest of it later!”

  25. Pallavi says:

The colour’s fab. That’s about all that is, really. The rest is pretty blah.

  26. kristen says:

    O MY GOD !
    I LOVE HER LOOK ! SHE LOOK’S GORGEOUS :)

  27. KD says:

    love it!

  28. Lalala says:

Anyone want to bet that Kristen is either Anu Deewan or someone related to her?

  29. Shweta says:

Why does she always look boring? I have no answer. But there are many things wrong with this look.
    1. Dull hair
    2. Matching nails with the dress colour (completely takes away from the wonderful colour)
    3. Cheap-looking beads (not to mention she actually matched them to her clutch-looks very tacky)
