The dress on Antara is from Anuj’s Fall 08 collection called ‘Eyelet It Be’. The collection was all about multi-functionality where each piece of square or rectangular fabric could be turned into varying lengths just by using the eyelets to hold the sides.

You may recall Anuj Sharma playing with the concept of ‘versatility/multi-functionality’ with his Spring 2010 collection titled ‘Button Masala’ as well.

Antara had a great start with the hair and the dress, wish she kept it edgy and hard… but she had to go and lose the plot with that clutch and those shoes. Especially those shoes. It’s a ‘Not Quite’ for us.

i like the pixie hair cut on Antara and her fresh make-up..other than that, the shoes completely kill the outfit…

  2. Naina says:

Ya, I like it too. The color suits her. It is nice to know that an actor got married to the editor of GQ India.

  3. Carol says:

What a cute haircut. But the dress is ugly.

  4. pdaervo says:

LOVE LOVE LOVE the hair, so flattering to her bone structure. I love how most of the prettiest girls I know have pixie cuts, it really draws attention to their face. Agree with apsara77, everthing else falls flat. Great neck up.

  5. pratik says:

I completely agree-Antara seems out of her league in this ensemble- trying valiantly to exude panache but failing to pull it off.

  6. Preeti says:

    OMG those shoes are yuck!!

  7. Kiwi says:

Shoes, stole and the clutch are yuck… she has an angular kind of face but pulls off the hairdo

  8. Joy says:

her choice of accessories are all over the place, does this designer only make garments which look like rehashed bedsheets?

  9. eway says:

What’s with people not realising that they are buying crap packaged as ‘designer-wear’.
