In Victoria Scandale
It was a Victoria Scandale dress for Alia while at a press meet yesterday. A bright lip color and pair of strappy metallic sandals are all that it took to finish out her look. The dress with its outward facing panels/flaps was tricky but one that Alia had no problems pulling off. And though the full-skirted dress is a silhouette we’ve seen plenty on Ms. Bhatt, what the look lacked in novelty, it made up in its effectiveness; Alia looked good!

Looks like she’s about to take off!! Must be in keeping with the “Udta” theme?
ha haha +1
Pink lip would have looked a lot better. Those flaps look very unflattering and no idea how does she walk in heels that are one size too big for her feet almost everytime. Same ol’, same ol’ boring one-toned look. I think her shandaar movie promotions was the only time when she experimented.
She looks gorgeous. Young & fresh the dress is, just like her. But yes definitely something not everyone can pull off and also needs a slender body like hers otherwise those flaps might make one look huge. Lovely sandals.
The dress is not working for me..Those flaps look forced…like a gimmick to make it look ‘designer’!
+100
I don’t understand why there are flaps are there. They don’t add anything to dress. She looks good, though the shoulder area is not fitting well on her.
I don’t get what’s tricky about this basic dress.
I have an urge to chop off the outward flaps, but Alia looks cute other than that.
She literally looks like ‘Udti Alia’
can anyone please id the shoes? thanks!
They are Stuart Weitzman
i think forever 21
The flaps should have been buttoned to the dress like the other buttons too. The open flaps are very unflattering and take the dress couple of notches down.
Love those sandals.
The dress is meh, and the flaps don’t help at all.
Some clothes make me feel like I can be a designer, a very good one, a much better one definitely… what the hell are those flaps?
LOL. 😀
Though I don’t like the flaps and think they add nothing to the dress, Alia does manage to salvage it with her smile and personality (as much as one’s personality can shine through a still photo…).
Without the flaps of course, it’d have looked much better… like one of those waistcoat-dresses, love them!
