  1. The cover is creepy, more of a horror movie cover where Alia plays the ghost of a lil’ girl with balloons..it’s giving me the “IT” movie vibe..Damn it’s the month of Xmas where the covers were suppose to be fun & colorful, not ghostly, goth or whatsoever..

  2. ummm she is young … only 19
same as me actually … its so weird watching her … i mean does everyone start dabbling in makeup n such stuff from such a young age? or maybe its just me … a nerd interested in fashion! 🙂

      • Tanya, the thing is that she’s not the one dabbling in the makeup. When you’re on the cover of Vogue, you’ve had top stylists on you for hours with hair, makeup, body makeup, wardrobe and lighting. When you get a result like this, it’s just pitiful. Little girls playing with makeup are perfectly okay, no one is judging them. they’re not on covers of powerful publications on a world wide platform.
i’m not little anymore, and I still play with my makeup everyday.

  3. She’s far too baby-faced aat the moment for this sort of fashion covers. Something simpler, lighter may work better right now. Once she’s a bit more grown up, im sure she’ll be able to do justice to this sort of styling.

  4. She looks like a pale little scared child, a ghostly kid at a party (Nisha B’s description works too) or a child bride – what exactly were Grazia trying to convey?

  5. The more I look at it – the creepier it is! Why on earth is she *huddling* in the corner of a brick wall holding on to her balloons for dear life?

  6. I saw the video of making of Grazia cover on youtube. The gown looks beautiful. I think the team wanted to show her that she is young, vivacious yet irreverent and hence the makeup! i liked the cover!

  7. Even though I don’t like Alia Bhatt, this is a nice cover…certainly different than the same old make up and clothes we’re used to seeing on covers these days.

  8. What’s with you’ll P&P ?the last few posts have such neutral comments from you all with an abrupt “you like” at the end..where’ have all the fun comments gone? The posts sound like youll were bored writing them and felt that it should be best left to us to judge

  10. My first reaction was that it was such a nice cover.. def grabs your attention but after reading everyone’s comments I can’t help but laugh at them :$ sorry Aliaa you’re a very pretty girl but unfortunately even though the concept was good the execution (read the OVEREXPOSURE and midtones of the picture to make you look like a gothic freak) was terrible.

Better luck next time… my advice – focus on your acting and less on fashion covers until you have more to back up your name or you’ll end up like Sonam Kapoor. Seriously who manages these people?

  11. it’s a pity that ppl sometimes use this platform to attack a celebrity rather talk about fashion! I understand that the cover has goth romance vibe but haven’t you been to a gothic buildng? does it scare you? may be yes, do you get enchanted by it, yes! so Guys, you must grow up. Fashion is all about revoking different genres- be it grunge or goth chic..it’s all in the game!
