Vogue’s Sep cover girl Alia attended Fashion’s Night Out first wearing a Shantanu-Nikhil for FNO tee with Dior skirt and Louboutin cork sandals and changing later into a strapless Cavalli for the afterparty.

The Shourouk necklace was cute but it made the look a tad busy. Much preferred her party look. You?

    • If alia can be on the vogue cover then y not prachi desai? Lol…..alia is neither a face of Indian fashion nor Bollywood …..but yesss she is a Karan Johar’s heroine and Thts what matters these days……vogue should start a teenage version for school girls and alias of the world can feature on it……it’s just pissing of…….agree or disagree?

  2. what a huge difference does choosing age appropriate hairstyle and outfit make. She doesn’t look like a school girl nemore..yay for that!

  3. Agree about the FNO look, but I like that it’s fun and age-appropriate. The Cavalli look could have used a pop of color by way of her footwear choice. Also, her smile is a great accessory; she ought to use it more often ;)!

  4. Party look for sure! She has a sweet and girl next door face. I think she may have her older sis’s eyes, reminds me of Pooja Bhatt from some angles!

  5. It is just amazing how you can come up if you have the right last name! She is not a looker at all, features are also mediocre!
To top it, a horrendous sense of dressing..

  6. The girl is 19, and thankfully looks like it because of the young and fresh styling! Like the fact that she’s not styled like every other 27-year old trying to look 24!

  7. Oh no I love the necklace on her.. it makes the look young and fresh and gives it some edge. Also like how it’s worn off the shoulder – I don’ttt like the cork shoes with it though it does not go one bit. Her party look was cute, I like the picture of her smiling I can finally see the cute girl the showed in the first SOTY look. Much prefer to see her as a smiling happy child rather than a wannabe grown up.

  8. I see some people harping here about dressing as per age. You have my agreement there, but I think it’s going a little too far to say that 27s cannot dress like 24s. There are age brackets for me – 15 to 18, 19 to 23, 24 to 27 and so on. And the dressing sensibilities of the ages falling in one group are more or less the same. That said, I think Alia is very, very ordinary looking and added to that, she has zero appeal. Secondly, she also does not have the earthly charm of the likes of Parineeti or Vidya, which could possibly make up for her averageness. I really hope for her sake that she is a wonderful actor as but for that, there is absolutely nothing going for her.

  9. I like her outfit on both the occasions. But one thing I just don’t agree with is her being on the fall issue of vogue. The September issue is just too important for a newbie (and that too one that hasn’t even debuted yet) to be on the cover, you need someone seasoned, that can carry off the essence of the fall-winter vibe.
