In Rohit Bal

At the photocall for Sarbjit, Aishwarya did desi wearing a Rohit bal long anarkali that featured a metallic long jacket. A Deepa Gurnani necklace, smoky black eyes and a nude lip finished out her look.

She looked amazing!

    • Yea, sadly it makes her look stocky. I was happy for her previous looks where she chose to bring out the vintage look on her face particularly because she nails them and it’s her strengths but then this look is disappointing..

  3. Her make up is perfect and I like the outfit but for an evening/night time event. If she wanted to go desi there were so many better outfits that are summery and light. She does look fabulous but I wish she almost wore this to a red carpet event instead.

  4. Dressed for Diwali! My thoughts exactly!
Of all the dresses available to her she had to go and pick this sack patch coat. Really ages her. Reminds me of punju aunties at a wedding.

  5. Is that a patchwork jacket….not working. The black anarkali underneath looks good though makeup is flawless but the hair is really, really boring.

  6. Not a fan of the jacket. But yes, it is THAT beautiful face that even makes this work for me. I do like whatever she is wearing inside the jacket and the makeup is subtle-muted (particularly that lipcolor) so it is letting her eyes sparkle.

  7. What a terrible outfit on such a beautiful woman. That jacket looks like the tiles at an Indian restaurant near my house and is so bulky and unflattering on her…then the limp hair, and whatever we can see of that anarkali…bad choices.

  8. Just give her a magic wand to complete the outfit. She has a strong tendency to lean towards heavily embellished, glittery, gaudy outfits. A sari like Sonam’s would have been wonderful here.

  9. She should have changed her nail colour at least!…For a woman who has a whole team behind how she looks, this is not good enough!
    BORING!

  10. She’s so beautiful neck up and again her stylist gets it wrong! I wish she would swap her stylist for Rhea kapoor for a week. Its summer and she’s put her in this heavy coat number. Its all too much. If she wanted to keep it Indian should have done a simple white chiken jacket or something.

  11. Face is beautiful as ever but this anarkali is too heavy and suffocating for the afternoon. Maybe something lighter, in a pretty pastel, with soft embroidery would have been better. For eg chikan is so beautiful, imagine how this would have looked if she selected a beautiful yellow/peach/pink/pista green chikan! Not feeling the nail polish.

  12. Its not summer in Cannes yet! In mid may, it can be quite cool, even in the south of France. I love the makeup and the outfit! Very regal.

  13. Nope.. Looks like some leftover Diwali outfit.
She’s always in layers and layers of clothing.
I wish for once to see her in these events in a sleek cut dress, or a pleated up sari, with something interesting done to her hair. Too much to ask I know ! 😛
