The cover is awesome!! Very artistic. It seems minimalistic even though its not. Beautiful. The designers have done a good job.
She looks very ethereal.
The other two photos are just ok. I would have loved the close-up but face looks white-washed compared to the shoulders, as if she needed to look whiter. Somebody forgot to colour correct.

She looks AMAZING! The clothes make her look skinny and funnily it doesn’t seem like she has been photoshopped…? The clothes are suited for the editorial…add nice drama yet her beauty shines through :)

LOVE IT! She looks like the icon that she is, stunning and powerful. Furthermore, as someone pointed out, the photography makes her look slim and statuesque without everything looking photoshopped.
She looks a lot like Marion Cotillard.
One of her best, I think. She has both presence and poise in this shoot. Beautiful, though I’m not a huge fan :)

Flawless skin, gorgeous bone structure, and radiant face all hers but wait, oh how I wish I had Photoshop!
I compared these shots to the Sabya ones by clicking on the link provided and its clear that the photographer did a great job!
The lightings/angles shaved atleast 10 years and 10 lbs off her face & body….

@lolita…you stole my words,great photography….how come she apperas so different in both shots…she is almost unrecognizable in these pictures and in sabya shots she does look like her present self!!

you mustbe really blind not to recognize her. every actress is photoshopped on covers but most dont even look half decent.
you have to really hate her to say she is only beautiful coz of photography.
The worst part is the only photoshopping she needs is a darker hair color!

Breathtaking. For those who have commented on photoshop used here, every picture nowadays is photoshopped.
However not everyone looks like this even after all the technology used.You cannot make someone look so beautiful using technology. There has to be stuff there to enhance.

agreed! even a blind person can spot the agressive photoshop jobs on most covers but this one looks nothing like them. she looks radiant and ethereal!
Love the old Hollywood feel of this look. Ash looks breathtaking! There are beautiful women, but there are only a few beautiful women with that special something. People may kvetch, but truth is she cannot be ignored.

It feels like major uninformed carping when says “It’s all photoshop”. Give the model, the photographer and the stylists some credit. People have been looking better, or at least different, than they do in real life for years before photoshop came along (They used to film the lovely Ingrid Bergman through gauze). If Ash weren’t a beautiful woman and a good model, these photos would not look like they do, airbrushing or not.
not just you or me she is the best looking bollywood actress in Bollywood history second only to Madhubala. many may not agree on that today but in hindsight her name will surely go down in bollywood history as the most beautiful.

The photographs are photoshopped, but the end result is good. We have had plenty of covers ruined by too much photoshop. There is no doubt that she is beautiful. I like the pose on the cover and LOVE the hair.

@GG…i guess you really dont know how much photoshoping can change…once you’ll find out you will stop believing in what is shown in magazines!!photoshoping is not just enhancing, nowadays its used more for “changing”.

LOVE it! very elle esque without goin all chanel, LV or western gowns on the cover. Now if they’d only go easy on the whitewash/photoshop n make it our own/indian elle

I am not an Ash as an actress fan…but you can’t ignore the beauty. Ah yes, she has been most definitelyphotoshopped, look at the full length pic, her shoulders, arms, waist are not that narrow. But hey this is a minor issue…she looks fab.
She is a good model. The photoshop and makeup make her look 10 years younger. All in all the cover page looks good.

For some reason she gets the most Hate for her covers when actually everyone who appears in print is photoshopped to the max. How do you explain Kajol’s extreme whiteness and sharper features in Olay print aids.Seems this rule you mentioned is applied only to Aishwarya.;)
now matter how far these pics are photoshoped , the fact is aish is truley beautifull. she is looking amazing. the pics are no doubt gud and the colour scheme of white dress on white background is making her look slim as well , but aish deserves credit too..

Why do Photoshop comments pop up when there is a photoshoot starring Ash?
Its not like she is unrecognizable? her facial features look the same.. its not like they changed her nose or her lips or her eyes?? every magazine covers and photoshoots are airbrushed and lighting etc corrected… complexion evened out..
also its not like she is butt ugly otherwise….
