Aishwarya on Condé Nast Traveller India:(Un)Covered

Comment image 33

On one cover, she is the subject while Paris is in the background. Not so with the inaugural issue of Condé Nast Traveller India, where Paris is the subject and if you didn’t look closely enough, you’d probably miss that it was Aishwarya with the bike.

And just because it is a travel magazine, doesn’t mean Aishwarya didn’t get to wear the best clothes. On the cover, it was a Fall 2010 Louis Vuitton dress and inside it is Dolce & Gabbana, Diorand Chanel. Check out the video to see more of the spread inside.

P.S. The polka dot one is the Dolce, the white a Dior and the black with the colored stripes is Chanel.

  1. Gosh don’t magazines sell in India without celebrities (read, actors) on the cover? I have not see one CondeNast mag with any one featured on the cover, but the gorgeous destinations. Why do you need Ash to promote Paris??? Ridiculous.
She looks nice, the dress is superb, suits her very well.

    • Exactly my thots atleast leave the travel magazines alone …. PLEASE !!! i mean The entire Bollywood Brigade gets to be on every magazine thats out there …. but not travel magazines …. i would rather see a picturesque locale on a travel magazine …. i mean i have no issues with the the BOLLYWOOD BRIGADE being on vogue or harper’s bazaar as they are fashion magazines and bollywood does influence people’s fashion choices …. but what has travel got to do with bollywood ? …. travle magazines are off limits even if its part of the same publication that publishes GQ OR VOGUE …. LEAVE THEM ALONE …. PLEASE!!!

        • Why do comments like above get approved when it has nothing whatsoever to do with fashion/style/relating to the topic at hand?! I mean the cover is there it’s done, comment on what she’s wearing! I don’t like the dress for the cover, unfortunately I can’t see the video so no comments on anything else. Why does Ash always dress so old!?

  2. While she looks stunning, I can only imagine Hi Blitz isn’t too happy to have their Paris (and, strangely, also the accompanying dog) motif repeated in the same month…
Also – the placement of the ’50 hotels’ line in the centre of the cover is odd. To say the least.

  3. Dude, she looks AMAZING. I’ve never seen such an editorial in an Indian magazine. Going with the, you know ‘about town, doin ma thang’ kinda feel to it. Love it! Making jeans look amazing! Loved it. And she actually looks phenomenal minus the fancy ruffled couture dresses like every other shoot normally does, right?

    thumbs up from me! 😀

  4. This spread couldve been in a marie claire or an elle…why in a travel magazine unless theyre showing you locations to shoot at. Show me the new 7 wonders of the worls and start from there! Not an Aishwarya!
on an aside I havent seen her styled so well ever!

  6. Umm she’s completely redundant isn’t she? The bike’s kinda lame in the setting chosen (appropriate for Paris but not in this photo). Alright, they decided to go with it. But then why isn’t Ash styled appropriately? (Black dress, heels…ugh.) And what’s with her pose – she looks like she’s trying to sell the bike.
Ridiculous cover to be honest. Because she’s out of focus and not in her usual blinged-out avatar(and because we can’t see her tween makeup), Ash looks good.

  7. she looks stunning in the polka dot, pants, the dress on 0.49 mark and on the cover but if only she would keep up with looking more like this in real life

  8. She looks the part as usual because she gets the best of everything to achieve these looks but she is soooo everywhere…this must be an Indian thing. They feel safe having her face on everything & everywhere, of course her transformation into an international face is the driving force, she’s not your typical Indian women I guess….and is it possible she sell the products?…interesting. I wish to see other Indian actresses though…oversupply…she is boring me!

    • me too. i think lara dutta will do a great job on an international platform to represent India, she won’t leave us with any cringing moments. whether i agree or disagree with what she says is different, but i like the way she answers.
