Due to walk the red carpet in a few hours, Aishwarya spent the morning on day three of Cannes doing photo shoots as part of her L’Oreal brand ambassador duties. Her first outfit was a green tiered Yanina Couture gown and she later changed into a beige embroidered Mark Bumgarner one. Both times she sported her bold red lip and wore her hair in a middle parted wavy do.

Have a favorite between the two? Me, I liked her more in the Bumgarner.

  1. She seems to be sporting the same golden pair of footwear in both and I think they go with neither of the outfits. She does look really pretty in the white gown though!

  2. She looks good in the white dress..I find the green one quite ordinary..infact ghetto applique work looks like from a lil girl’s dress…also hope she departments with the hair a bit!!!

  3. The first dress is a nice colour but is odd
The second dress is exquisite but the shoes take it into whimsical territory.
She is gorgeous though no doubt. But hoping her red carpet looks are contemporary and a little different. Deepika hit it out the park yesterday. Hope ash carries on with the good run

  4. she should’ve sported a poker straight haircut with bangs with the green dress to make it pop…but wait its Aishwarya we’re talking about.. one to never experiment with hair.. makes all her looks seem the same because of it

  5. Hate the green outfit! She does look gorgeous though; but then she does most of the time!
And those shoes do not belong here!
Also, I wish she changes her hair up next time even though I know she loves this one a tad too much 🙂

  6. While the face is gorgeous and who am I to comment on a beauty of her stature, I don’t see any difference between the anarkalis she wears back home and the gowns she is wearing here. Why does Ash always opt for heavy stuff? Why can’t she let herself loose? Something more casual perhaps?

  7. Love the green outfit – Fresh and chic! She looks good in the beige gown but she has done it so many times…same ol same ol.

  8. She is so beautiful. Amazing she looks in the white. Green is different & nice. Works for a photo shoot. Hope she changes her hair for the red carpet though.

  9. Every time my eyes fall on her, she takes my breath away! Coming to dresses, first one looks like some teen girl’s craft project but colour looks gorgeous on her. Beige gown is exquisite but would like see some colours on her while she walk the red carpet. And, yeah, footwear not going wel with the outfit!

  10. I have to agree with the other commenters. She looks beautiful but no credit to the outfits or styling. The green dress looks inexpensive for lack of a better word and I am not sure it’s a good daytime look. The white dress is so much better but she looks a little uncomfortable in these pictures. Here is hoping she kills it on the red carpet.

  11. She is a veteran of Cannes, been there for 15 years.. about time she gets a stylist who KNOW what they are doing. Her looks are pretty much always such snoozefests!

  12. The white dress is beautiful but the ball gown style, her hair, pose everything seems way too princessy. My vote goes to the green number. It is eccentric and unexpected

  13. Her Face and Hair a so stunning that she gets away with wearing these tacky clothes! As usual she and her stylist pick the worst clothes. Why can’t she pick well known designers and wear something sleek for these day press meets inside of these horrible dresses. Disappointed again!

  14. Am I crazy or is the photo/painting in the second set of photos — in the white dress indoors — of her face? How is that possible was it taken at her home?

    • Oh really !!!! Better than that is jumping into a well. Deepika is a disaster in the fashion department inspire of that pretty face.

  15. Love both looks! Well done Ash, well done! The green dress is very unique, and in my humble opinion, a soft pony tail would have been better, given that it is warm.

  16. There are beautiful women and then there is Aishwarya Rai!! She is out of this world, her beauty is unmatched. Who even looks at what she is wearing when she has that face that can conquer the world! She is India’s pride! LOVE!

  17. She looks divine and ultra gorgeous in both! But one question always bothers me…what happens to her fashion sense for events in India?? Does she preserve it all for Cannes? 😛

  18. Very disappointing looks. The woman is stunning but somehow her clothes never are . She needs to either dress more classic or completely avant Garde. I think she struggles somewhere in between trying to maintain her prim and proper look whilst trying to be on edge. She’s a textbook beauty and probably classic couture with well done up hair would do wonders for her.

  19. She is so beautiful! I actually like the green gown, plus the color suits her. The white is pretty on her but it’s not chic.

  20. On the fence about the green one. The white one looks like one of those countless cheap gowns made by some local unknown designer.
