Photoshoot Wars!

A gown making an appearance in different publications has happened a number of times already and the latest to make its round is the Spring 2010 Versace gown seen first on Jacqueline and now on Aishwarya. Let’s not forget, we also saw this on the I Am She winner Ushoshi too.

We think we need a new category to cover this phenomena! 😛

Thanks ‘deepika’ for sending it in.

  1. This may well be the first time I appreciate Mrs. Bachchan but you have to admit, she has so much more spunk than that newcomer. Jacqueline’s face has been ruined with the airbrush, but Ash is at least edging toward the sexiness that is characteristic of a Versace! Hated the cover but loved that dress.

  2. ash looks hot, but how much of that is ash and how of that is thanks to mr/mrs photoshop i wonder. she does look fab, but tbh VOUGE INDIA…….the mag should bring out indian talent and promote it, if we wanted to see versace we could have just been reading the normal vouge but i feel in india vouge theres more ephesis on abroad designers rather than the designer gems from back home in india….

    what a shame! seriously!

  3. I am actually really liking Aish here…I saw some additional photos of this shoot and she is totally rocking it. Jacqueline looks good too. But for Aish’s age, she completely owns it!

  4. That dress is wayyy too sexy…I think Jackie is too airbrushed, and for some reason the dress looks ridiculously loose on Ash. Then again I jus woke up.

  6. The dress fits Jacqueline like a glove, photo-shopped or not.
…. as for Ash, she is a seasoned player and works her attitude to create magic… and I am not even an “Ash fan”

  7. wow, aish is looking fabulously wonderful here – jacqueline is prolly half ash’s age and she still, cant match up to ash! Same as deepika in cannes fizzled out when compared to ash in cannes- Aishwarya Rai is a class act is all i can say

  8. watta load of crap! 10 crore for a film! the figure has to be wayyyyy more than that! an average 2 income yuppie couple wud spend atleast crore on an apartment in mumbai!!! and she gets only 10 crores!!! i guess its for the benefit of the taxman… considering she’s one of the highest tax payers in the country.
and since i just recalled im on a fashion blog – ash is killing in that dress.. poor jacqueline!

Look at the way shes carrying that dress – So much spunk and fun.
She looks younger than the other woman on the right.

  11. I think the spirit of these photoshoots are very different from each other – Jacqueline’s poses are more static, while Aishwarya has more dynamic poses. Going by just these shots and without considering the effects of photoshop, I’ll say the dress itself seems to fit Jacqueline better as it’s lying flatter against her stomach. Of course that could be due to a difference in bust size as well.

Also to those comments regarding their ages – why does Aishwarya’s age make an appearance in comments anyways?? Especially those comments that say Jacqueline is HALF OF AISHWARYA’S AGE, you’re saying Aish is 50 and that’s why the 20 something Jack looks good?
And when you say Aish still looks good for her age – let me just suggest that you all check out your mom’s pictures from when she’s 20 to when she’s 30, chances are leaving weight gain/loss aside, she looked pretty much the same save for a couple of extra lines on the face. And that’s the point that I’m trying to make, which is that a woman pretty much looks the same from when she’s 20 to when she’s 30, the only difference being she may be more polished in her appearance when she’s in her thirties. The major changes come after having children and undergoing menopause. Why can’t we just say “she looks good” and leave it at that? Let’s please leave out age, it’s only chronological and does not reflect your true internal age including your health level.

I know this is long but I just had to get it off my chest 😛
