Festive Spirit

It was nice to see mommy-to-be Aishwarya who has been MIA for a while. It was even cuter to see her wear one of mother-in-laws saris to the Ashtami celebrations today in Mumbai.

The actress was also spotted last night with the in-laws in a green churidar suit with a gold Fendi clutch.

  1. It’s looking too much if you know what i mean. Extremely bright sari with hai kept etc. She should have tied her hair back and chosen less bright colours. I am blinded actually.

  2. Ms Rai looks nice in the pink sari. But just because you’re pregnant it doesn’t mean that you have to wear a tent and a pistachio green one at that. With so many maternity options out there, Ashwarya certainly needs to send her stylist out for some shopping, or get a new one for that matter.

    • Some peopel don’t mind showing their baby bump while others are conservative about showing it, guess Aishwarya follows the later types, though nothing wrong in that.

      • I agree. Traditionally, people in india used to hide their baby bump with dupattas. Sometimes i did not even notice they were pregnant !
But these days, more ppl like to show the bump. Different people have their preferences.

  3. The green anarkali also looks like Jaya’s (& may be even the yellow saree she wore to french award). The anarkali’s which jaya wore before were of the same style- same full hand sleeves etc.

I like the pink sari, not the border though.

  4. Way too much makeup just to go to a puja.
Learn from Sushmita and Kajol, when going to a puja, no need to wear so much caked on makeup.

  5. Glad to see her finally! Although I would love to see her flaunt her bump, she seems conservative. Her bump, her choice! 🙂 Her style of wearing the saree leads me to think that she has gained a lot of weight upper body therefore the pallu/dupatta wrap… what an adjustment this must be for Ms. World! She is looking lovely as a mommy-to-be!
