In Manish Malhotra
What do you do when you’ve exhausted every color from the color wheel? You go back to wearing one (in this case a color) you’ve worn before (see here). 😛
Update: Added closeup pic.

Aishwarya Rai at Zee Cine Awards 2011
Wow, she looks STUNNING!
She looks so beautiful here… it may be too much for some people – but she totally works it. Good for her 🙂
yawn!!! next one please….
lol..gotta agree with you hehehe
puhleeeeej….give us a breakkkkkkkk!
yess pleaseeeeeeeee give us a break…please please please Aishwariya Rai!
I thought she was going to break into one of her “devdas” dances.
Why does wearing indian have to mean wearing tacking, overload anarkalis???
That also in same design but different colour back to back…….
They’re not the same. But SO similar, why would she buy them both?!!
That one was sleeveless, this has sleeves (see-through, but still they’re there). Also that one had a different border at the bottom of the kameez. And a different chunni. And the kameez was shorter than this. And not as much of a full skirt as this is.
I saw another pic of her on Daylife where it’s obvious this outfit has full churidar sleeves. Unbelievable anyone with so much to choose from would pick the exact same color combination in a very similar outfit by the same designer. This is where I officially give up on her.
Well, she looks good here – can’t deny that. And the hair color has changed – hallelujah!!
has manish malhotra signed a contract with her, she is turning to be a brand ambassador for his clothes. i guess he is giving them free to her for all the occasions, this only seems to be a valid reason for wearing same old designs and predictable clothes again and again…
I feel she is one of those individuals who put on what is given to her, if she has a good stylist, she looks good, otherwise…This is one of the worst anarkalis I have seen.
I agree with your assumption. However if it is otherwise i.e. this is her personal style then thats scary.
Here she looks relatively better then her previous anarkali looks.
I think its the colour that uplifts the dress.
Well I think AIshwarya has stopped looking in the mirror of late…her dressing has become such an eyesore!
hasnt she fed up with the same hairstyle over the years
Only certain skin tone can carry that color and she looks fabulous in it. Somehow she is glowing in this pic, wonder what the secret is. 😀
the only place where ARB has given some fashion wows recently is at Cannes… otherwise, she always is in news for her lows. Come on, you can do better than that after so many years in the glamour industry… it looks like she’s just bored now.
Common … if you take Vidya Balan in all those repeated boring Sabya anarkali’s …then this is much much better than that….not to mention, she looks b-ful.
we do not expect much of vidya, she is limited in what she can wear because of her weight, height and resources, from Ash we expect much much more.
“she is limited in what she can wear because of her weight, height and resources, from Ash we expect much much more.”
That is such a stupid excuse for not being fashionable!
Vidya tried all kinds of styles but she was butchered for that and was labelled a fashion disaster.
Ash got called that too after her Cannes green saree disaster but she didn’t go the safe way! She kept inventing new styles and saw fashion in a broad perspective. I think that is what makes her posts get the highest clicks and comments.
Save those stupid excuses for others. Please.
i like the color-combo a LOT..!! not a fan of MM anarkalis..but like this one..
i actually really like this
the colour is beautiful…i adore the sheer sleeves and actually even the red (velvet?) border for once looks good
one of the few MM anarkalis that i would actually buy
she looks beautiful and it’s not a bad MM creation but definitely feels like she’s been wearing the same outfit in 10 different colors…
colour is lovely..she looks nice but she really needs a change. i thought susanne looked fab- elegant, sexy yet very decent
Ash is turing into a Vidya Balan, same old clothes all the time.
She actually looks nice here considering some of her previous awful appearances, and the outfit is one of her “better” anarkali’s, but its so boring now.
TIRED of seeing her in MM. Ash where is your stylist of Cannes? Can’t he/she style you here too?
I think the anarkali looks nice andthe color suits her well…but this is definitely a let down compared to the others who are dressed to a T.
Its almost as if she doesn’t care to impress anyone!
She looks pretty and the anarkali is pretty decent…but this is definitely a let down compared to the others who are dressed to a T.
Its almost as if she doesn’t care to impress anyone!
i think she looks beautiful…if she wants to wear anarkali let her wear..she looks beautiful.
nothing good to say!
i don’t really like churidars on the red carpet – saris or gowns look most glamorous – but I don’t think she cares anymore..
actually tihs was more like the white? she wore recently..net long sleeves with embroidery on them..also her hair color is till relaly light..but less orange:)
Manish Malhotra : his gaudy and garish anarkalis: and only one customer Aishwarya Rai . She looks fine but would like to see her in something different . She must give these tents a break . So boring
okay, so this is a done to death MM anarkali but what I am really liking is the fact that she chose to rock a desi outfit when every second person was in a gown or dress…lol so i am going to be ‘neutral’ as to how the dress looks…hehehe…
well she does look lovely!
she looks good after a while…
I wonder how she is not bored of herself yet. Wish I wasn’t subjected to these Manish Mal’hate’ra torture over and over again.
fake smile, check. self conscious pose, check. hideous tent, check.
one word – B-O-R-I-N-G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think people have grown accustomed to saying Ash look ‘gorgeous’. Come on, this is seriously drab.
Puhleeeeeezzzzzz….sum1 tel her havin pretty face’s nt enugh
must manish’s creations always be so height-shortening. even ash, a tall lady, can hardly carry them off.
