In Georges Hobeika Couture
Stop the presses! There was an Aishwarya sighting on home ground and it was actually good!
Wearing a white Georges Hobeika Couture gown, the actor attended the Stardust Awards on Monday evening and boy, did she kill it! And, we mean that in a good way!
She looked dreamy in the embroidered gown and frankly, we have no complaints!

Ash looks jaw dropping-ly dreamy!!! Yes she kills it when good clothes happen to her.
+1
In all her good appearances, she looks exactly the same though. Lovely, dreamy but the same.
But would take that any day over other atrocities we’re subject to ! 😛
After her pregnancy, as she is not in the same shape of her pre-pregnancy days, she is not feeling confident to experiment different silhouettes I think. As there was more expectation from her and more exposure to media from everyone compared to other stars in Bwood, she is kinda covering herself up. 🙂
My only complaint would be the bow on the belt.
Lovely quinceanera dress. Does this woman not have a stylist?
Hahahahaha
Lol! My thoughts exactly
Pretty gown, with a little too much froufrou at the bottom, nevertheless she looks lovely.
Lovely simple and even cute! But plz do away with the bow on the belt .
This dress is for 15 yr old.
How does she look good and where?i don’t see it.
That gown is so dated..
She looks great because she is a gorgeous women. I don’t care for the dress at all and I would agree that it is for all the reasons stated in the other comments. It looks like a blown up version of a young girl’s dress unfortunately.
Wow!! Love love love this!!
The gown may not be the best but she looks stunning. Make-up is great and she’s sported a different hairstyle than the usual. The only thing that didn’t belong is…the trophy (for what? Hamming in Jazbaa?)
😀
+100
She looks like a cup cake! Ho hum look but with that face she’s already batting at an advantage, quite like Deepika Padukone.
Aishwarya looks ETHEREAL and DREAMY. Really liking this whole look a lot. Aishwarya should wear gowns more often even in India.
Thank God Aishwarya put in some efforts for an Indian Event!! She is looking like a dream in this lovely gown! So beautiful and serene!
Nothing striking about this gown…the design is very dated and its been done to death. Ash looks very average here. P&P are fan girls 🙂
She killed it?! Killed good taste you mean?
The gown.. The hair… The pose.. It’s like a ten year old is playing dress up games.
P&P, there seems to be a major love fest going on with Ash! The gown is so predictable, the embroidery so ordinary and the belt-I have no words for it. Ash should do away with pink altogether, for herself and for her daughter as well. How is a full skirted look on Ash acceptable but not on Sonam??
the belt really brings the dress down, but I’ll take Ash in all her beauty and simplicity in this twee princess dress than in an AJSK, any day.
That face and all that yadiyadiya out of the way, its a silly fussy gown that doesn’t do her justice.
WHAT!! no AJSK?!!?! why oh why! what will happen to all the chamkis that AJSK have gathered to make you an awards night outfit!?!?
You go girl! hope you have ditched them(AJSK) permanently and for good!
Aish looks absolutely gorgeous ,Cindrella princess gown ..am so in love with this
She’s looking absolutely perfect and those who are saying that this dress is not good gor her…go and do ur homework…look at kajol’s dresses…..we shoukd appreciate such an Indian celebrity who is known internationally for her beauty and acting…..
Overalll she’s magnifique and the dress is perfect!
+1. LOL. I am so glad she does not fit(squeeze) herself into clothes (body inappropriate clothes), shoes which one cant handle because it is the trend or to try too hard to look younger while just end up looking like a clown and which seems quite common with ladies like Kajol. Aishwarya has THE class no matter what she wears.
We shouldn’t appreciate anyone just coz they are famous.
Her acting ‘skills’ are very questionable.. 😛
Hehe… in the same way, Kajol’s acting is very effortless.
Lol but I will take acting skills which are “questionable” rather than “irritable” like that of Kajol’s. 😛
On an aside try watching Iruvar (her debut movie) and Kandukonden Kandukonden. She was good(acting wise) in both those movies. Maybe she should have just stuck to working in Kollywood where she began. 😀
Probably.
I’ve always found a total disconnect with her as far as acting is concerned. Very unnatural.
Kajol was good before, but has done too much of the same loud roles to appreciate anymore. But she gave us Simran, and everytime I remember that, I’m all gooey 😛
Haha I guess its again a matter of what each one perceive as “acting”.
I love the SRK of DDLJ, Baazigar, Dil Se times. I love Raj of DDLJ. So even it it was any other tom dick or harry in the role of Simran, I would still be fond of the movie just because of Shahrukh. 😛
She’s absolutely beautiful and perfect….the dress is suiting her!
Looks great only because Aishwarya is wearing it. Beautiful makeup! She needs…ummm…more punch in her styling with such a beautiful face. She always plays safe.
TBH, when I first saw her photo, I thought it was an AJSK gown 😛
I wish she wore more sleeker and contemporary styles.
Miss Universe paegant was in another country ; Aish missed the brief, dunno why she dresses like this. Once a beauty queen always a …
I love her! She has class… The dress is passable… But, yes, there is a but…. In both the top pics and the one in bottom left, unfortunately she looks as though she is spouting dog / horse ears, because of the backdrop position. I cannot unsee it!
She looks beautiful because she is a beautiful woman. The gown on the other hand – is too princessy and personally, I don’t like it at all. I wish Alia and Aishwarya had swapped out their gowns.
What a beautiful woman. THAT face. She does look dreamy in it.
Barbie’s dressmaker designed it for her!
Grow up for God’s sake …
I’m sorry. This looks like one of those tacky dresses made of cheap fabric that little kids wear.
