Aishwarya was also seen attending a few more events while at Cannes, specifically the Devdas screening for which she picked an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla long anarkali. Having seen her do the same look plenty of times at home, I wasn’t excited by this apperance.

She sported a gorgeous Georges Hobeika gown for another photo shoot and while she looked lovely there, it felt like it came too quickly after the Mark Bumgarner. To an untrained eye, one would’ve thought this was a picture from her photoshoot from Saturday.

I wish we had better pics of the Monisha Jaising because it was one of the more sleek looks she wore while at Cannes.

  1. Hi Payal, this text is not well written. Not only are you guys leaders of public opinion on fashion, you also have a huge role in popular language. It is an important part of your communication. I hope this will come across as friendly and constructive feedback and not snark – it isn’t meant to be snark at all 🙁

“To *an untrained eye, one would’ve* thought this was a picture from that day…it was one of the *more less* voluminous looks she wore through Cannes.”

  2. The Georges Hobenka is her best outfit this time. Instead of going all out princessy or a full skirt, she should wear this silhouette. Suits her more. The Monisha Jaising does not suit her one bit. The aksj would have looked nice had she tied her hair up or moved her hair behind her back. The hair down over her shoulders is making the outfit look heavier.

  3. I like the Monisha Jaising best here! Do agree that it would have been nice to see other photographs of her wearing this dress. The other two are dated and same old.

A great run for Ash at Cannes overall…perhaps her best ever. Her red carpet appearances were fabulous (blue > red) and I really liked the green Yanina couture dress too!

  4. I love the Monisha Jaising but I wish she experimented more with her hair. She gave us half a dozen appearances over the last few days and not ONE appearance has anything interesting or different done with her hair. I would have liked just a simple pony tail with a couple of her day-time looks.

  5. She is stunning in the two dresses, especially the Georges Hobeika but Urghh that anarkali! To add insult to injury, an ugly AJSK anarkali.

  6. She looks great in all of the outfits. However the hair is really boring; it’s been almost the same style through out the trip.

  7. She looks fabulous in the Hobeika one. Different and beautiful in Jaising number. Anarkalis is the same ol’ same ol’ but she does look pretty. Heck, with that face you can look good in any damn thing.

  8. She’s lovely but all her looks would have been elevated with – a) softer hair colour (brown perhaps), b) side parting, c )more naturally falling loose hair or tied hair.
That’s my two pence on her Cannes 2017 run.

  9. Seriously I am hating this woman, is it possible for her to be anymore beautiful? I love her whole look for the whole Cannes, she is truly breathtaking. Thumbs up for Deepika too. They both shined. Btw my mom told me if I cant say anything nice about someone dont say nothing at all, so there 🙂
