Copied the entire look….although not BAD but not Impressive then…I would love to see the way Deepika, Kangana and Alia experiments and looks FRESH

While I like the overall playful look, I feel it would have suited better someone younger.

I am relieved to see that she is wearing a non tent ish outfit and a dress that might be interesting by itself. But, the hair, the socks, the boot.. yuck!

I totally disagree. She looks ethereal and fabulous. I love this out if the box styling concept.

The higher you climb, the worse will be the fall.
I can’t believe she’s the same person who gave us that amazing Cavali sighting at Cannes this year. She looks like a teenager playing grown up.

How…and why….how can someone with access to so much know so little. Why would you wear something that hideous on such a hot day???

      The event is in Glasgow….

      1. A at | | Reply

The weather at Glasgow is in the 80’s (°F)! We’re in the midst of summer; who wears such a thing?!

        1. doss at | | Reply

That’s what I was thinking. It’s so warm in Glasgow right now. Why did she pick this?

  7. Prep-y at | | Reply

I don’t know…I guess it’s just so warm everywhere right now, that look make me feel warmer ;) I actually do like her hairdo. Just the outfit itself doesn’t work for me, but I’ve to say that Aishwariya has really upped her fashion game since Cannes. There has certainly been a change in her stylist?

There’s a bird hiding in that hair :)

itsss frickin hottt here in UK. how could she wear that??

  10. ddhd at | | Reply

I think she looks very pretty. Socks may or may not sit well with everyone but I don’t think this is a facepalm look

  11. deb at | | Reply

Kate Middleton would wear this coat dress elegantly. Definitely not with socks. Aesthetics aside, it’s high summer! Even in Scotland.

  12. Katya at | | Reply

And why is she sporting a fall look in beautiful sunny summer Glasgow? You don’t have to look like Sherlock Holmes all 12 months of the year you know!

  13. just me at | | Reply

Such a stunningly beautiful face…so much potential…so many choices at hand…and this is what she/her team chose! Separately, each element – hair, coat/dress, heck maybe even the footwear may work but together…!!!!

Payal, I disagree, and I am not even a crazy Ash fan.

I like the mod look she is working. And I’ll take it over a visit to Anarkali Avenue, which is routine for her.

The look is fun, and she is werking it.

Just a pair of good heels could have elevated the look to a different level. She would have looked more soft and feminine. Her stylist could have taken some tips from The Duchess of Cambridge itself. She masters the coat dress looks!!!

  16. Neharika at | | Reply

Why cant indian celebrities dress according to the weather. Its hot right now, close to 90 degrees and this outfit makes no sense even in Glasgow. She looks pretty but this is a complete fall /mild winter look…And the socks do bother me a lot.

  17. vogue mnia at | | Reply

We love the face yet it cannot save the blunders that she repeatedly commits!
The dress coat is meant for young “girls” .Age necessarily doesn’t have to confine your choices but you have to start choosing smart and with grace. You cannot play the naughty teacher like Sreedevi nor can you play a high school kid like Aishwarya.
The hair is very formal for the dress when the latter is itself playful and by adding socks you only make it worse

  18. Jotham15 at | | Reply

I disagree. The look is flawless, nothing about her hair or boots is face palm worthy! She looks 10 years younger and slimmer. The trench coat compliments her figure to the T, the hair is chic and boots sexy. Her confidence pulls it off very well. Some people here think they know fashion and style, but they don’t!

    1. Ahot at | | Reply

Preach! + I guess people hates it when someone they think they figured out goes to schock them… lol.

It’s Really hot in UK at the moment.she looks ridiculous .

    1. Ahot at | | Reply

Isn’t Glasgow in Scottland? It tends to be chillier there than in the rest of the UK; the day certainly wasn’t a hot one. If she looks ridic, so does the Queen & the others in attendance…

  20. chilore at | | Reply

I love the hair…the socks, not so much :-). She is one gorgeous looking woman though. All class and elegance

  21. Fergie at | | Reply

The most objectionable thing for me is the complete copy of the model. For some one at her level in the game, it’s just really sad, however good she looks.

  22. adya at | | Reply

I suspect it was Longines that decided on the look. Blame the brand not Ash. The hair is very luxe retro Gucci.

  23. Jiminywiminy at | | Reply

The Gucci look is really Boss. On Ash…not so much. Why ever would one wear a PRE FALL outfit in the middle of european summer?!! Hell the bright sunlit background is clearly visible in one of them pics.

  24. slc at | | Reply

The look is definitely for someone younger (the socks..really!) But it’s not that bad. Her lovely face manages to save her time and time again. My gripe.. I just expected something more Summer(y). I wonder what others were wearing in comparison.

Oh Aishwarya! Why girl ? Why? After a glimpse at Cannes, you’re lost again ?

I really don’t like this look at all! especially the hair, nothing about this look works!

  27. Jessie at | | Reply

I think you either like it or you don’t.I would have hated it if she went with her same-old hairdo or heels. But to call it a ‘facepalm’ look is just too much and uncalled for.

I like the play here.A dramatic beehive,a huge teal clutch and coat dress..the make-up/face looks so perfect.I love it!

    1. Srilalitha at | | Reply

Totally agree, facepalm? really? This looks is lovely and look at the others in attendance!!

  28. Sweta at | | Reply

The legs look really bad … can’t even look at them

  29. Adara at | | Reply

I think she looks good. I like the hair. I can’t really see any socks. When people can wear boots in Mumbai/Delhi, I don’t see a big deal about wearing it in Glasgow.

  30. Shruti at | | Reply

It’s 28* here and she is wearing a thick black coat with boots!!
    Sweating just looking at her!

    1. Ahot at | | Reply

Here meaning Glasgow, I assume right? The trench isn’t a wool one though & she is wearing it as a dress …

  31. Roni at | | Reply

    Just plain bad styling.

  32. hmm at | | Reply

Face palm to your heart’s content, she is looking fabulous!

    and bandwagoners crack me up

  33. Anya at | | Reply

Why do her stylists hate her?

  34. RDM at | | Reply

I love the face and hair – she looks drop dead gorgeous !!! The dress is young – but I think she still looks great in it – those shoes though are a sore point for the season..

  35. Andie at | | Reply

Shoes can make such a difference, Had only she skipped those hideous socks/boots and replaced them with sky high pumps, this would have looked easy breezy and perfectly chic.

  36. Tammy at | | Reply

Ash looks plain bad and ridiculous in this pre fall outfit at a summer event with a birds nest on her head !!! She’s really has never had a good style sense…..

  37. Pav at | | Reply

Neck up gorgeous – neck down I like it better on the model. It makes the model look leggy and has the opposite effect on Aishwarya.

  38. Jiminywiminy at | | Reply

With the massive beehive and a fairly weighty looking coat AND bare legs + skinny boots, this just looks visually top heavy. Sleeker hair would have been better.

  39. Samishtha at | | Reply

SHE LOOKS FABULOUS!What is the fuss about it being from the pre-fall collection?I don’t see anything wrong there. And for your INFORMATION it was around 12 degrees there.Love the hairdo too.

It is an offbeat, quirky and striking look.LOVE IT!!And dare I say, this one could one a trendsetter.

  40. Trupti at | | Reply

The entire ensemble is hideous, for lack of a better word. A black coat (flared!) in the middle of summer, with calf-length boots? Who does that? Come on, she’s been Miss World, has traveled all over, and she chooses this? Or was she blindfolded during getting dressed? Even the watch is not so prominent in this hideousness. I’m not one for usually pointing out bad things, but this one is too much to shut up.

  41. SooBhavini at | | Reply

Ohh lord! who the f..k has done this to her and why did she allow it???….such a waste on a huge platform

  42. arpitha at | | Reply

She may be going for a formal look, but the socks & shoes make it a school girls look. If it was chilly she should have opted for stockings. Pumps would have worked better.

  43. MachineGunMeow at | | Reply

Perhaps she should’ve just let her hair down and worn the hat too.

  44. Fernie at | | Reply

Agreed. Either the look should’ve been the boots without the socks, or a full-length leather hotpants look if she really felt cold. This look is neither here nor there. Also, a slight gripe with the hair, where the bouffant doesn’t bother me as much as the two out-of-place strands which stick out like sore thumbs.
