K well I understand that candid shots are usually personal/warm etc... I guess I'll make it personal.. I for one ALWAYS smile in my photos..there's tons of pics of celebs without makeup.. and the ones that usually pass as still being pretty are the ones that are smiling in the shots.. it's a free accessory lets say. If you took any other actress and made her do the poses that Ash was doing in these shots I just don't think they'd look as serene, peaceful and pretty. I know I wouldn't..I would need to have the smile and personality shine through to make myself look pretty. N about her attitude.. I think Ash is most comfortable in Indian clothing, speaking with indian journalists etc. That's just based on what I've noticed...who knows maybe the photographer told her to look out into the light or something? She also has an attitude when travelling in other countries or talking to Westerners who might question her about India. THe only time she looks comfortable in her own skin is when she's wearing Indian clothes. My personal opinion of course.. reason i dont think she looks scintillating in western clothes.
