Tina and Anil Ambani threw a party today to celebrate the birthday of his mother Kokilaben that had many celebs in attendance.

Aishwarya attended the do wearing a pink Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla anarkali with silver Choo sandals. Given her past AJSK record, this was one of her better looks.

    • Totally agree! And another point, she looks really uncomfortable in this picture. She used to stand with more confidence. It just seems like she is drowning in these suits and Ash is so stunningly beautiful its a shame…

  1. Her bad dressing sense is contagious. Abhishek is wearing a purple velvet blazer on Koffee with Karan. I don’t know what I hate more the velvet jacket or the ajsk salwar Kameez .

  2. Once upon a time there was a pretty lady Aishwariya who dressed up that we would go wow and then down the lane she got married and met Abu Jain Sandeep Total snooze fest The end. Plz P&P dont murder us further with more blink

  3. She looks as if she did not want to wear the outfit. It’s an awful outfit. Once again Jaya Bachan dressed better than Aishwarya…actually other guests dressed better than her.

  4. I don’t think we can expect much more from Aishwarya Rai in terms of fashion anymore. In that light, I’m not too bothered by this outfit.

What I am bothered by, though, is that pose. She is a grown woman, with so much stature and fame. Can’t she stand with more confidence? The way she is holding her arm, in addition to Abhishek holding her, makes her look as she might fall down any second. A pity, really.

  5. notice that she only attends the do’s of some uber rich people (read both Ambanis) or then her sponsors.
Even then, the choice of clothig is meh…
I think if this blog wants to choose to feature the fashion sense of the few it is loyally following, then so be it, its their choice. I would rather, this blog focus on good fashion from the up and coming Desi style icons.

    • +1. It has been ages since she looked good. Now adays she is always in tents and same boring hairstyle. There are so many beautiful anarkalis out there ad she selectes these ??? She should stop dressing herself up and hire a stylist. How could she even stepout in this even if it was for free.

      • Also wanted to add. The same dress would have looked better had it been styled different – A side hair bun or fish tail plate with some tribal designed earrings and no dupatta. So may be it is not problem with AJSK designs but how Aishwarya is styling them. what do u all say?

  7. With the history Abu Sandeep had in the Indian fashion scene I can’t believe this is what they have come to! Cheap gota in all variations of striper sand zigzags! Cheap gota that I get on my Diwali Mithai fabric covers! And why oh why have Bollywood switched to it?!

  8. Me thinks Ash has lost her mind. Time and time again to show up in these hideous outfits is a total shame! Especially given her access to designers and money!

  9. I can come out with a better outfit from my neighboring boutique… its so sad with all the resources and beauty she comes out looking like this.

    • Not only Resources, Beauty but also long ‘Fashion/Modelling’ experience. Its like she forgot all these years of experience on how to dress.
