In Amit Aggarwal

At the Hello! Hall of Fame Awards, Aishwarya was seen in a fresh off the LFW runway Amit Aggarwal gown. Considering Ms. Rai likes to play it safe, am pretty surprised at this pick. The vibrant gown did look good. If there was one thing I’d change, it would be those earrings.

A smaller pair would’ve worked better here.

  1. No, No, No! I would have the changed the gown, not the earrings. I am so tired of her wearing sooooo much make-up. That gorgeous face does not need to be painted over.

  2. Aishwariya’s face is the only saving grace here, the dress has too much going on, the colors are just not blending well together. I have a feeling this look is not gonna be liked much on here!

  3. ha ha.. Didn’t you guys ask for color recently? And she gave you a whole palette!!
The dress is a bit hard to pull off – she should have gone for a sleek ponytail. Right now her above-the-neck is clashing with below-the-neck!!

  5. This is worse than the longinnes event outfits if possible. Too many colours. She doesnt have the it factor to pull off a ghastly dress like this. The make up abnd hair add to the scare factor.

  6. Very very bad, ridiculous circus tent dress and her neck jutting out like a stork, layers of make up. Could it get worse? BTM absolutely

  7. Maybe the bottom part should have been fully yellow or fully white then this dress would have looked much classier. Nevertheless she has pulled it off. it’s nice to see some color on her finally!

  9. I am quite liking this look. Sort of growing on me. Also it’s an unusual pick for Aishwarya. With Sarbjit promotions about to begin and Cannes next month, cant wait to see the different designers and silhouettes that Aishwarya would be trying.

  10. I think she looks great! I love to see her wear colours. The only ugly thing about the gown is those shiny crimson parts. Rest of the gown is nice. I would have liked softer hairdo!

  11. A random question: Why does her left brow look raised (like always)?
If you go back and check the past few appearances, you’ll notice that her left brow is a certain way.

  12. I do not understand why this gorgeous lady does not experiment with other designers…she can try so many others who design very good clothes…even a plain color blocked sari from raw mango, or Sanjay Garg, Payal Khandwala, Anavila would look awesome on her…

  13. Oh how horrid she looks. So much make up. The dress in itself is quite quirky . But it needs someone like say kangana to pull it off . This isn’t Aishwrya’s cup of tea .

  14. Beautiful lady in not such a beautiful gown. It is nice to see her in something different and with that face she could wear anything – but I just don’t care for the gown. The colours are garish and don’t go together in any way…

  15. This is actually a vibrant gown and needed some playfulness in the make up and finishing touches…for changes a brighter lip color and not so much make up…and also a smile…she looks way too serious….this needed more personality than what she displays to carry it off..

  16. I came into the comments section to see if there are any ardent Ash fans (or PR?) that got offended with this post/comments . Looks like they are busy or not see this post yet!… Ok people, now let’s see what other colors we are missing from this gown. 😉

  17. This gown could have worked on anyone playful and relaxed and yeah someone who can smile (Read : Jacqueline or Sush) … I like colors but does not mean I would want a visual sensory overload … Naaaa … Doesn’t work for/on her one bit !
