Keeping It Simple
Rajshree, the director of Aisha, kept it simple at the screening wearing a Kerala kasavu white sari with a red blouse and came off looking quite elegant. A surprise star at a screening where everyone else was disappointing.

Elegant indeed!
The Director dresses up and the ensemble dresses down! Beats me!
Very nice…….i have 3 kerala sarees….nice to see that people like our traditional saree…proud to be a Keralian…Payal did u notice,in Gal meethi song, all of them (girls)are wearing Kerala sarees may be I think it it Anamika Khanna
Yeah, they did seem totally Kerala inspired. Those were some beautiful saris; loved ’em. And yup, Anamika Khanna it is.
it is red blouse n clutch that has given this sari a beautiful look….i have this sari too n its been 6 yars n i was wondering how to wear this….definitely will be copying this style…love the red
wear it with darker shade of blue (not navy), looks awesome
I like such sarees, but it doesn’t go with that red blouse, doesn’t look good.
Well, that’s how its supposed to be. A kasavu saree is always worn with red, green, violet or black blouses. It’s the tradition in Kerala 🙂
Yup, the red blouse is not so great.. love these sarees.. must get one for myself
The red blouse with the red clutch looks perfect!
da red blouse is actually giving the saree a completely diff look.
For me the look is totally lost with that red blouse and the unkempt hair. Better not to mention about the length of the sleeve – totally wrong!
i don’t think the red blouse is wrong, but i think it’d have looked better if the sleeves had been long, say just short of the elbow. i know it’s on trend to wear short blouse sleeves, but they work only on toned arms — otherwise, like here, it draws attention to what is not her best feature.
awww….I too have one!( though a non-kerala)…I wear it occasionally with mehendi/olive green wide neck blouse…and everytime i do, i get raining compliments!…love it!
beautiful and classy
