    I was so happy to see Rahman in the sherwani. And loved the way Alicia keys pronounced his name – Rrraah-maan.
    His speech was wonderful too!

    yeah, it seems like she actually made an effort to learn how to pronounce his name, right? unlike many of the other americans who keep butchering even the easiest indian/foreign names. props to alicia keys.

    awww im soo gladd that Saira wore an indian outfit to the oscars. my friend said she saw her at a beauty parlour in Chennai, and said she was pretty traditional, i didnt believe her then.

    Mrs Rahman looks stunning and that’s one of the most gorgeous Sabyasachi suits…. I’m hating the sari on Bipasha and even Ash’s isn’t that great, I think Ash looks good because she’s a little more covered than Bips and she has the swept back low bun hairstyle, which is always a classic….
