It was a Sabyasachi sari for Lara while at the Zinta-Goodenough reception. Aside from the matching clutch, a jeweled headband and diamond chandelier earrings rounded out the look. Though the sari isn’t quite our cup of tea, there’s no denying Lara cut a striking picture in it. I do wish she had skipped the headband though… It didn’t add much to the look!

At a recent party in Mumbai, Athiya was photographed in Self-Portrait. With her hair styled in soft waves, the actor finished out the look with a bright lip color, Christian Louboutin bag and ankle-strap sandals. Nothing to fault here; Athiya looked good!

Sonam’s second appearance at Cannes was in another light-colored gown, this one also by Ralph & Russo, this one also featuring a cape that had a long train.

While on day one, she wore her hair down middle parted, day two saw her in a sleek updo and floral diamond necklace from Bvlgari.

I think most of you will have the same complaint as you did with Aishwarya about the repetition of color. I myself am quite surprised at the choice as well. Having said that though, the gown with its fitted hourglass silhoutte did look nice on Sonam. But, let’s just say we weren’t quite blown away.

Wearing an Elie Saab Couture dress, Freida attended the Kering and Cannes official dinner on Sunday evening at the film festival. Hair in a side-part updo, her look was finished out with Bvlgari earrings, a metallic clutch and sparkly minimalist sandals.

The dress with its floral applique was exquisite but I wasn’t completely sold on the finishing touches. The orange-tinged red lip clashed with the belt and accessories and the belt itself seemed too broad for the short dress.

Richa along with her Sarbjit crew also walked the red carpet at the Mal De Pierres premiere at Cannes. While I like that she picked a sari (a Sabyasachi) to wear to the vent, can’t say she fared well in it.

We don’t have the best pics but the stark white blouse just seemed rather jarring against the gold sari. A dull-gold blouse would’ve worked better here. Not that I was a fan of the fish-scale pattern sari itself.

P.S. Her clutch is also Sabyasachi and jewellery from Amrapali.
