In Jay Ahr

It was white again for Ms. Kaif who opted for a Jay Ahr dress for the press meet of Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Her look was finished out with lace peep-toe pumps and (should-we-call-em-trademark?) soft-curls.

Well within that comfort zone.

In Gaurav Gupta

Another after-party, another well turned-out appearance. This time in a Gaurav Gupta dress, side-swept hair, red lips and a Bottega Veneta clutch. We like.

Screening Style

Spotted Kiran at a recent movie screening in a grey tee and colored pants. Black flats, a beaded necklace and a Céline trapeze bag completed her look. Simple, casual and a look that works well on her.

Love the bag. But then those of you who follow us on Instagram already knew that! 😉

In Kallol Datta

Love the Sailex cropped jacket with the Kallol Datta dress that Sona Mohapatra wore to a recent screening.

The cut-out on the dress took me by surprise and personally, not a fan. Makes me uncomfortable almost. But am not the one wearing it, Ms. Mohapatra is. And she seems to be doing a pretty good job of it.

A black envelope clutch and James Ferreira shoes completed her look.

In Sabyasachi

As part of Jehangir Art Gallery’s diamond jubilee celebrations, Sabyasachi presented his collection and after which, Vidya Balan felicitated certain artists. All this wearing what else, but a Sabyasachi sari.

We are okay with Ms. Balan picking Sabyasachi for ninety-nine percent of all her public appearances. We really are. However, we do wish she’d stop dressing beyond her years (by which we don’t mean she should instead pick blingy saris and barely there blouses). We give her mad props for always choosing saris. Just wish her signature style didn’t always have to mean her having to channel her inner hot maami. Not that it’s a bad thing, just that it’d be a lot more appealing if she’d mix it up. No?

P.S: You may recall seeing a version of this sari on Shruthi Haasan here.
