In Alexander McQueen

It’s been a busy day for Freida. Earlier in the day, she attended a press conference wearing Narciso, then quickly changed into a Resort 2011 Alexander McQueen dress for the premiere of her movie ‘You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger’.

Even though I love the curls, but because the neckline of the dress is detailed, I do wish Freida had gone with a pony-tail and also picked non-satiny footwear to offset the satin dress. The look then would’ve been a perfect 10 for me. She completes her look with an Alexander McQueen clutch.

P.S. As I lay out the runway and first pics of her, I realize that completely unintentionally, it (the pics) makes the model look like she’s thinking, ‘how dare you wear the same dress’. 😛

In Narciso Rodriguez

It was a blue Narciso Rodriguez dress for Freida, who looked lovely at the press conference of You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger in Toronto. I wasn’t a big fan of the black shoulder strap on the dress which is why I am loving that Freida’s loose curls cover it. It gives the appearance that the dress is a one-shouldered one. A box clutch, black sandals and bangle completed her look.

In Ranna Gill

Both Farah and Mini chose Ranna Gill dresses to wear to a recent premiere and while Mini’s was a typical/standard Gill dress that we’ve seen before (or it’s other versions), Farah’s wasn’t. Also, we don’t quite know just how exactly we feel about that dress.

While the neck detail is interesting, paired with the loose hair and gold accessories, it hardly makes an impact. And the little that it does, just contributes to the visual clutter. How we wish Ms. Khan had sported a pulled-back do, just to let the neckline shine.

Ditto!

At Dhobi Ghat’s photocall at the Toronto International Film Festival, Kiran was spotted wearing the same Cue dress seen first on Sonam.

While Sonam wore the dress as is, Kiran looks to have added to it by wearing red tights. Bummer, we don’t have a full-length of her.

A Tight(s) Finish

Both these ladies chose to wear tights to a recent premiere and while neither was a stand-out look, Dia wins this match-up by doing better relatively. Neelam’s was just too casual and dull for a premiere.
