Masaba, Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2010
Masaba isn’t one to shy away from prints or color and this collection, like her previous one was heavy on both (color and print). The men’s wear and women’s wear that she showed was playful and casual with an interesting mix of prints, colors and textures. We especially liked the hand/palm print in black and white. The jumpsuits with multi fabrics and dresses with hems attached on one shoulder were certainly interesting for the lack of a better word.
Being so reminiscent of her previous collection, all we’ll say is this… it’s great that she’s found her “signature look”, now we hope she just doesn’t fall into a rut.

We’ve always maintained that Nishka’s Spring Summer collection was way too tweensy for us and seeing it on Soniya only reinforces that fact. Don’t get us wrong, we aren’t saying Soniya looks bad, in fact, she actually pulls the cutesy look off rather well. Like we said, before, it’s just not our thing. :)

Spotted Naseeb (owner of Samsaara) at Neeta And Nishka Lulla’s Collection Launch wearing a dress we very recently spotted on Shaheen.
Who do you like this dress better on? While I like embellished necklines on simple dresses (like these), this particular dress I don’t care for much.
