I wasn’t a big fan of the McQueen flapper clutch, a variation of which you can see on Shilpa here, but seeing the green on Tania and how she paired the oversized clutch with the uber-traditional Laila Motwane anarkali suit is making me want one badly! Love the green version.

Soon to be Mrs Narang, Isha went with a pink Anita Dongre suit for her engagement ceremony with Timmy opting for a pink kurta. For their official sangeet ceremony, Isha picked a Neeta Lulla lehenga outfit while Timmy went for a sleeveless (now, that’s a first!) zip-up Nehru jacket with black pants. What I couldn’t figure out (apart from Timmy’s outfit) was Isha’s long choli with those cut-out sleeve extensions. Quite unnecessary.
Congrats to the couple.

Both Lata and Gayatri wore red saris with detail-heavy blouse, but Lata wore a simple but brighter shade and Gayatri a more intricate one. Lata’s bright shade of red is the kind I hate (a lot!)so this vote automatically went to Gayatri. Who do you prefer?

At Isha’s Sangeet, spotted Ms. Kataria Puri wearing a dress from her own Fall 09 collection. You know us, we always appreciate a designer wearing her own, something which she often does. Question though is, do we like this one?
For us, it’s an ‘Almost’. While it’s festive enough for the occasion (even though it’s a gown and a black one at that at a Sangeet which traditionally is frowned upon but this one was no traditional Sangeet with it’s theme), all that hair was just so distracting. Had she pulled back her hair, the overall effect would’ve been so much better.

This isn’t the first time we’ve spotted Pratima wear Anuj Sharma so that comes as no surprise, however, we do wish she’d take a page out of say someone like Ayesha Depala’s book and wear more of her own designs, she being a ‘designer’ n’ all.
That aside, how fab is the color on her?
