In Narendra Kumar

It was no surprise to see Kadambari wearing a Narendra Kumar at the launch of ‘Creo’, a new store in Mumbai. We are surprised though that she didn’t wear something from the exclusive collection Narendra created for the store. But then, having seen owner Ami Jhaveri sporting one of the dresses, we are glad that she stuck to this red strapless number. It was far better than the metallic dhoti-skirt (watchamacallit!) dress.

Bag Spotting!

We aren’t sure what’s worse, wearing those platformed flip-flops to a store launch (anywhere for that matter) or that bag? Actually, it’s not that hard to decide… the Louis Vuitton monogrammed monster is just too much of an eye-sore. For us anyway.

Keeping It Simple

Am not sure why Raageshwari needed to wear that cap but a nice red clutch would have been a predictable but nevertheless a great way to finish off the look. As it stands though, keeping it simple paid off and she looks great. We like.

Lara in Elle India: Decoded

Even though we’ve seen two out of the four outfits featured on Lara already make an appearance in the September issue of Harpers Bazaar ( featuring Bipasha), the styling of this shoot just totally blows the other out of the water (even though that was good too). Of course, the whole team should get credit but ‘Wowza’ at Lara! This spread has left us wanting more. More of Lara in print.

You can catch Bipasha in the D&G and wearing the Marilyn print Dolce gown in her interview with HeadlinesToday Here and Lara’s inteview in Elle Here.

Kitschy, Kooky

Wearing prints isn’t the easiest thing to do. Especially wearing a mix of different (and overwhelming) prints/patterns but, when done well it’s bohemian, fun, statement making and makes kitsch starved souls like me smile. Of course, when done none too well only means an unmitigated WTHey’ish disaster. Not in this case though; love Sabina’s look.

Conventional wisdom would have perhaps dictated pairing that crazy jacket with a more neutral dress/top but love how it works with that dress. So refreshing. If I changed anything, it would have to be the hair. Not working for me at all.
