While others rarely look past Manish Malhotra for their Indian clothes needs, not Ms. Kaif. Her loyalties lie firmly with Tarun Tahiliani. (See here and here for instance!)
For Cineblitz’s latest issue launch, Katrina stepped out in a pale blue ombré Tarun Tahiliani sari and while the icy hue worked well, I wish we’d see more of the warmer green/teal (from the border and the blouse) on her. Yes, Payal and I have been obsessed with green lately, but that’s just us.

She’s got reasonably good taste in bags and accessories so why is it that her taste in clothes lags so far behind. For starters, Ms. Patel, how about not always wearing dresses that are always two-inches-too-short. A just below the knee hemline can actually makes you look more svelte than stumpy.

Vidya Balan may have been wearing Sabyasachi but there is no way the designer would approve of how she wore the two pieces together, would he? Would he?
While individually we liked the pieces, they clearly belonged to two different outfits/looks. And that tightly curled hair did Miss Balan no favors, not to mention those entirely too-tall-for-the-skirt-and-much-too-chunky-for-the-outfit pumps. Oh Vidya, Vidya, Vidya.

The perks of being an only child is that I never had to share but Priyanka tells me, having an extra closet to raid (her sister’s) always made for more options. Either way, seeing the same Preen dress (and the jacket) on Charu begs the question, which sister gets to really hang it in her closet?

Timmy and Isha had their wedding and the reception on the same day. For the wedding event, Isha wore a red sari and instead of going for something drastic for the reception, stuck to a straightforward pink lehenga by Neeta Lulla. Congratulations to the couple.
P.S. If Timmy’s jacket didn’t have a pink piping, I might have just convinced myself that he added the sleeves back on to his sangeet jacket. :P
