Poles Apart

Am in my late 20s (TMI already :P) and to this very day, my mother will still pick on me if I wear a bad outfit. She gives me that ‘Young lady, you ain’t going anywhere looking like that!’ and boy am I glad she does that because I do eventually change (after a few moans and groans) and end up looking better. I really wish Sharmila would do that to daughter Soha! How gorgeous does Sharmila look and how awful does Soha? Told ya so, poles apart!

In Narendra Kumar

Even though she walked for designer Reynu Tandon, Mugdha chose to wear a Narendra Kumar dress to a bash hosted by Reynu. While I did prefer the red version more, didn’t like the design of the dress much. You?

Again. Already?

It’s been barely over a week and Ms. Nair was spotted wearing her black satin outfit again, this time, at the Doha Tribeca Film Festival. How we wish she’d worn the red bandhini outfit with the Loubs and the clutch. Now, that’s a look, we’d have liked much more.

Keeping It Simple

Ms. Sharma kept it simple at the opening night of Mumbai Film Festival by wearing a black dress with Burberry pumps. While I think she looks great, I wish she had carried a clutch and put that phone in it.

In Kiran Uttam Ghosh

Inspired by the drape style of women in East India, who tie their keys to the sari pallu and put it over their shoulder, designer Kiran Uttam Ghosh created this long kurta piece where the lengthened front goes over the shoulder. On the runway, the outfit doesn’t seem so bad although I doubt in real life anyone would pull it off and that is probably why Tisca chose to drape the extra length over her hand. Except, instead of it looking better, it just looked worse. Much worse. A ‘WTHeyyy’ if you ask us.
